  • do you need to go threw any like home inspection and counsaling or anything? jw. im a newbie at adopting pets. i found the cutest dog in the world that i would love to love and own.

  • RON PAUL 2012!!! anyways I want to adopt a child. Im in the marines & I plan on starting the process in the next few years. Will being in the marines count as a stable job (going into law enforcement when I get out? Im not adopting for any wrong reasons like some troubled people out there but because I want to be a parent to someone & give them the opportunity to live life happily. What advice could you give me to help me make the right decisions.

  • It doesn't matter where she's adopting from . It's her business.

  • i thought it said starting the ABORTION process. i was like wtf!

  • @FlyinSpaghettiMnstr7 LOL!!! abortion process!!!

  • asdfasdfasdf

  • testing 123

  • Your Gorgeous!!!!!!

  • Good for you hope all goes well for you. That would be my second choice as well.

  • that was me calling.

  • may God bless u and ur family !!

  • Do any of you really believe it is better to leave a child in an orphanage rather than as part of a loving family? Why does the colour, race, culture etc matter? I truly don't have a problem with physical appearance on ANY level and if you truly feel it is right to deny a child a home and family based purely on race, then you need to examine your own prejudice and look deeply into your own soul. Should children born in poor 3rd world countries be disadvantaged by petty prejudice too?

  • i know. it seems silly that a child can be denied the opportunity to a decent life because other people may think the family doesn't look right together.

  • bodysnatchers style? I want a chinese one. No no no, we don't like the arabs.

Oooh the consumer choice of babies you get in the 21st century... they're from everywhere. How exotic.

mind you, I've heard of worse ways to exploit people than raising and educating them, even if they do have to endure suburban bigotry and lots of boredom along with it.

People's cheeky. It's so easy to be a vain, self obsessed, self-important fool. Best way to start is by taking yourself very seriously.

  • i know right.. thats exactly wat it is

i use to live in the suburbs

all these people want to adopt chines babies because their friends adopted chinese babies!! its retarted

my teacher was telling us how chinese daughter loves bagels & irish dance..he wasnt even teaching her about her culture

  • Well Adoption is like the new cool thing! Its like going out for shoping. Hei look tat baby looks like hell be a SOMEBODY! Lets pick him. And hes like "MAMA?"

  • Who in there right mind would give you hate mail for adopting?

  • So you planned on adoption but then got pregnant when you didn't think you could?

  • Isn't is weird looking back at this video....knowing now that your prego?? Congrats on the little one! =)

  • 5*****.........

  • Who is the world is against adoption? Seriously what the heck? So many children needs homes. More people should adopt. I reallly want to adopt from Russia... but of course not for a really long time.

  • Forget what anyone else says, I think you and your husband are incredibly loving and considerate. Go for it!

  • i don't see why people wast energy arguing about what country you should adopt a child from. If you are gonna be a good parent and take care of your child(ren) then who cares where He/She was born. You're giving them a chance to have loving parents which is the best thing you could ever give to a child.

  • This time i am not agree with you..do you really can not get pregnant? well, why don´t adopt children from your own country. There are lots of kids that are homeless and other that need home because they lost their parents. There is noble to adopt kids from another country, probably will help them and give them other opportunities, but think about, you're not at star.. help your own country kids.

  • it doesn't matter where the kid's from, she's saving one that needs a home.

  • I agree. She's adopting a child without a home and thats all which needs to be said.

To judge someone for doing an international adoption is like judging someone for not adopting a child of their same race. From there, people can get specific and go to extreme arguments about couples adoption children who are prone to obesity over 'normal children'. Its ridiculous.

Shes going to mother a child, and that is a good thing. :) Good luck.

  • Hey Girl, I think you're awesome! I love watching your videos. I am a new wife myself, and a weightwatchers member. You're videos have been so encouraging to me. I wish you the best in adopting your child. I know you will be a wonderful mother. :)

  • Ahm... you DO know that adoptees are at increased risk for attempting suicide?

  • DO YOU know that you are a complete DICK for telling someone that.

  • I'm an 'adoptee' and I have had a wonderful life, great parents. I don't have any wish to end my life personally. I don't see where the fact I was adopted would even be a factor in that.

  • lmfao and uh, beelzebubsasshole, pretty sure the kid would be less likely if he grew up with loving adoptive parents than whatever the alternative is. Sheesh

  • Ron Paul! Ya! lol...good for you. when i get married adoption is a definite for me!

  • That is ridiculous considering how many children out there need a home and how many people are willing to provide them with one.

  • i really wonder what's the kid's country ...

mmmmmmmmm im sure is an african country ...

  • I think it's great you're considering adoption because that helps other children have a life that wouldn't've been able to.

  • hey, i´m Helen, 30 from Sweden. Just found you here on youtube. its great you want to adopt from other countries. To help childeren that doesnt have any parent.. i wish you the best of luck and hope you dont have to wait 3 years for your child.

    //Helen

  • if anyone leaves any hate comments then they are assholes because giving a child a home is a great thing to do

  • hey, if you are adopting a child and give them a good home, you go girl! you are awsome for doing this!

  • My husband and I are adopting our son from Russia. We are waiting for a court date now to go pick him up. It's an emotional and delightful ride. Lots of luck. Just one thing....don't forget....They don't call it a "Journey" for nothing!!!

  • Wish you the best in life what ever you do

  • RON PAUL ROCKS!!!!! He knows and beleives in the constitution.... one of the few political leaders that do. Good luck to you with the adoption. You are a good person.

  • Kids are just kids. They're all worth loving....

  • Ron Paul is a white supremacist.

  • im praying for whatever you decide works out for the best.

Sharing your life with a child, no matter what race or ethnic background, is a wonderful thing...

  • Hi! I'm so proud of you for considering this! There are sooooo many children who desperately need a home. You have a wonderful heart. We came close to adopting earlier this year but the mom changed her mind 2 days later. I can tell you are so excited. You will make a wonderuful mother! Nothing could be more satisfying than giving a child who has no home a wonderful home and a wonderful set of parents. You will do great!

  • Don't you two wanna conceive and give birth biologically? As long as you're not like Brangelina. What was your medical reasons for not conceiving naturally?

  • A few words of advice.

When making the decision on adopting you have to realize that just like a child born from your loins there's no going back.

Second you have to realize that if this child is being given up for adoption there is a good chance this child might have problems and since there's no going back you might have to live with what could end up being a life of misery.

    I'm not saying don't adopt.

Just give it a lot of thought.

  • Amazing! I was adopted and I couldn't have asked for better people to raise me! I met my biological mother when I was 18 & it was amazing... but I would never consider her my mother. My adopted parents (who are my parents & I will never think any different) are the best thing that has ever happened to me! So I commend you in what you are doing! I have considered adoption if I am not able to have my own children... Congratulations & good luck.

  • I am excited for you. I hope to adopt in the future.

  • Congratulations. I hope that everything goes well for you.

  • I just started watching your videos (because of the weight loss) I just wanted to say that I think it is awesome that you have decided to adopt. I am excited to see more of your vids on adoption, and other causes you stand for. Also, Don't let the negative comments on here scare you, I'm sure you already know that but just know that for every negative person there is a positive one inspired by everything you show on your vids. Again Thanks for sharing!

  • so are u adopting a baby or a grown child?

  • myhalo - Most of the children who are adopted, are VERY wanted by their natural parents.

  • Isn't it amazing that there are soooo many unwanted and unloved kids in the world and there are this many hoops to jump through? With that said...

Its also funny that despite all these hoops and requirements of potential parents, etc. the kids "we're" raising these days are more screwed up than ever before! It seems to me you could get the same results by just throwing all names in a hat and matching them up! lol

Sorry, these videos have no relevance. The formats will all change for one thing.

  • you are really cool and i love your videos. congrats on the wedding and good luck with everything that follows

  • I totally liked your videos, i'm let down by this. Adoption shouldn't be about YOU. Think about all of the children and families you could really help with the amount of money that you're spending on the adoption of one child so that YOU can be called mom. Especially in International Adoption. benefiting off of a countries poverty and govt. discrimination so that you can build a family is wrong.

  • Huh? Lets follow this logic to its ultimate. Lets all work, but put our paychecks in a huge pot and spend it on the "collective" rather than the individual. Uh, no.

These adopted kids essentially have won life's lottery. Going from, as you say, a country filled with poverty and govt. discrimination to a better country with more opportunity and a loving mother and family - someone who wants them. Yeah, how selfish.

  • Yeah, lets follow the logic "halo." Why should a child lose his identity, family, culture, land, people, language, ancestry etc. because of poverty? Let alone, lets also ripple the reality of how many children are stolen and trafficked for rich american couples who want to adopt and pay thousands to do so. MONEY doesn't = good parents. By "your" logic, adoption is lifes lottery...no way! The child has a mother and family, and the industry is taking them from that to sell them into adoption.

  • She wants to score points with the rich, elitist PC crowd which she can do by showcasing her swarthy baby.

  • Why not adopt a cat

  • i think adoption is a great thing. so many kids need a great home. it's great to go and educate yourself about it as you are doing and see what feels right.

  • This is a hate comment

  • Esther,

Congratulations on taking the first step in doing something you've always dreamed about! I think it's awesome also that you're documenting the process through your vlogs. I think this will help a lot of people who are interested in adopting or adoptions. And as a minor side note -- this was my favorite of all your vlogs, and I normally like everything you do! Again, congrats!

    -Katy (antkatprod)

  • Esther, I fully appreciate and applaud your desire to adopt a child. But, you just got married. Really...I don't know how long you and Nick have been together, but introducing a child into the mix so soon could certainly work to the detriment of everything and everyone. Research into it now can't hurt, but how about just enjoying being married to each other for a while.

Also, there's no such word as ANYWAYS. You're highly educated; I wince a little every time i hear it.

    Anyway, all the best.

  • Good for you! I love you more every time I see one of your videos. Ron Paul supporter AND adopting! You go girl!

  • Can´t you have children of your own or do you just want to adopt like just because :)?

Anyways i really think its amazing!

    Good luck :D

  • adoption is a great idea

    especially between different cultures

    just a question

why arent you having your own kids

  • 2 of my little cousins, mei(7) and mia(4), were adopted from china. it is a wonderful thing to do. god bless you guys (unless you're unreligious but still) you're going to be a part of a great process, so best of the best luck for you guys and your soon to be child. =]

  • Good luck with the adoption process. Adoption is a wonderful gift. I wish you and your husband all the best.

  • Good for you. There are so many kids out there who need loving homes. We would love to adopt as well, but it's just SO expensive. =( Good luck!

  • I think it's so great you're adopting! There are so many children out there who need families and it's really great there are people like you out there :)

  • You have ~really~ pretty teeth, anyway, i'm glad that you are going to adopt, my girlfriend wants to adopt when we get older. :D Do enjoy your new child! :D I wish you the best!!!

  • I think you're doing a GOOD thing! There are so many children in the world without loving parents. The world is a better place because of what you're doing. Thank you.

  • wish you the best on the adoption process.

  • I am totally excited about hearing about this. I'm not sure if I ever want kids but if I do I think I will choose adoption. I have nothing against people having children naturally but I think adoption is an amazing gift. Good luck & can't wait to hear more.

  • I wish you all the best! Love knows no bounds or boundaries, and so many children want nothing more than a loving pair of parents. Enjoy the ride, and remember, the obstacles are there for those who aren't serious about it. The best experiences in life are usually the hardest to get.

  • Very Interesting. We adopted and have some stories. Good luck.

  • We're going to have an adoptedstarlite around here... name still not taken ;>

  • I think it's awesome that you're adopting and that you're documenting it. Me and my wife want to adopt some day in the future, so this'll be really interesting for us to follow.

About adopting from one's own country: I don't know about the US, but in Norway, that's incredibly difficult to make happen. Norwegian children are put into foster care, but not adopted. Why adopt from Africa? Perhaps because it's way too densely populated as it is? Perhaps it makes ecological as well as social sense...

  • esther i admire you but are you not going to have kids of your own.

it seems this whole adopt a baby from abroad thing has become a odd craze in america.

  • I think it's beautiful that you're choosing to adopt a child, but doesn't that mean you will deny your love and care to millions of other babies? For example, I'm concerned you may be limiting your selection to a country with a lot of vowels in its name. Don't you think children in consonant-rich countries deserve a happy home too?

  • Whoever voted thumbs down on this, obviously didn't get the tongue in cheek humor. Hahaha. :)

  • Hey, thanks!

Seriously, if any act earns complete absolution for any kind of discrimination, including reverse discrimination, it has got to be such a huge and unmistakable act of love as adoption.

  • Who trained you to hate your own race? What is the real agenda in going out of your way to adopt some non-White baby?

  • You're a moron. Who taught you that "white" deserves capitalization or preference over non-whites?

  • Why would "White" not be capitalized when it refers to a race? It is rather obvious when they try to play all the name games so now they sometimes try to sneak in African-American (though it usually refers to someone who is merely Black and never been to Africa or have dual citizenship), Asian-American (same as above), Hispanic/Latrino, and then......white.

  • White is a color, not a race. Caucasion is a race. Native Spaniards often have white skin, blue eyes, and blonde hair.

I don't know who "they" are you are talking about... you sound paranoid, or maybe you're just talking about minorities when you say "they"... in which case I think we all know the real reason you're offended she is adopting a non-white baby.

  • Caucasian*

  • Do you ever hear non-Whites say they want to adopt a White baby out of the good of their hearts? You remind me of an NPR program I heard where a typical emo whiner was running some "adoption" program for dolls for little girls or something. She got off hiding the White dolls so the White parents would have to get a non-White doll. She never did the reverse. She had no comment about why non-White dolls were created to start with - why, are those minorities racist or something? Such hypocrisy

  • Then why do government forms say "White"? The reason is obvious - that way they can list it last and claim it has to do with capitalization.

  • What government forms? I went to school (in Texas!) and any form I ever filled out said Caucasian. The only time it ever said white was next to Hispanic, where it said "non-white" in parenthesis.

Yes, being non-racist makes you emo and whiny... riiiiight.

LOL@ listing it last on purpose. What a joke! Yeah, we white people are sooooo oppressed. Boo-fucking-hoo.

  • Oh no... I was wrong. I admit it, I was mixed up. It does say white on the ApplyTexas, state-wide accepted application for colleges.

    Listed FIRST. Not last.

  • I am strenuously offended by you people continuing to refer to me and my fellow Hun-Americans as "White". I am not even that color in February. Here in summery August my complexion is a fetching UV-roasted hue. I believe I speak for all Peach Americans, as well as our Pink and Tan Brothers and Sisters, when I claim, in the most self-righteous tones, that adoptees should never be arranged in line by hue. That is preposterous! It should be more of a circular color-wheel kind of thing.

  • Why don't you adopt an American? If you want to adopt a black child you don't have to go all the way over to Africa. There are plenty of black children in America that need to good home.

  • I think that it is great that she looking into adoption. However, I must agree. Why do people choose not to look at their own backyard for those in need? This pattern seems to represent some sort-of subconscious form of denial about America's history (and present state) of racial inequality. Such denial could constitute racism, though I am not calling faintstarlite a racist, because I do not know her exact situation or precise rationale for choosing international adoption.

  • that's wonderful. i'm looking forward to many, many updates on the adoption process going forward. thank you so much for making these videos.

  • I'm so excited for you!

Also, a huge thanks for sharing this first step! I never knew international adoption took SOOO long. I'm not in a position to be doing so yet, but I want to know more, becausse I too have considered this for my future! So I really hope the videos continue =)

Perhaps you can suggest some good resources to start thinking about it?

  • Yea definitely.. especially once we get deeper along in the process I'll be able to give a lot more suggestions about resources :) Thanks!

  • Its really not funny its like buying a child why dont you just try to make one and if you can then adopt and do someone a favor by taking care of there child your adopting a child for your own selfish enjoyment

  • But there are too many people in the world as it is (our resources can only go so far, and we're only getting better and better at prolonging life... the Earth cannot sustain us all) ... and I'm pretty damn sure kids up for adoption need a loving home & to be taken care of.

  • I think its awsome go with wut you feel is right!

  • You are so positive about everything!

I really am looking at you as a role model now!

  • First off, I'm sorry to hear that you have medical complications that could keep you from having a child of your own.

Secondly, I see nothing wrong with adoption. If that's what you'd like to do, then more power to you! And, I also don't see anything wrong with adopting a child from a different country.

Honestly, absolute best of luck to both of you on this one!

  • She did not seem to whine about anything. She just seemed very excited about the possibility of a child being brought in her life. I think she is just sharing her personal experience.

  • Hey Esther, you gave yourself away with your video tags! :P ;)

I find it really great that you adopt a child (not only for medical reason, but because it makes sense ;)), although I'd also lean towards an domestic, american child!

Just my conservative point of view. ;)

  • Sweet! I started watching your videos when I was on my weight loss journey (yay! I made my goal btw) but I was pleasently surprised you have many interesting vlogs beyond that subject....best of luck with the adoption process!

  • have you ever considered domestic adoption? it seems like there are already many many kids in america in need of a family

  • Wishing you the best, I know you guys will be good parents.

    :)

  • How wonderful that you are adopting... but Ron Paul? Seriously? I am so sad as I really agreed with your politics, until now.

  • let me guess, your looking at an asian country? It's the big fad right now...

  • I think adoptian is the way to go. You are doing a wonderful thing. What country are you thinking about adopting from? God bless you and your future children!

  • Keep strong. You are doing a great thing, and you have got a heart as big as anyone I have ever known! Don't let anyone tell you otherwise!

  • Hey sounds great! Your a very caring person. I hope everything works out for the best! Congrats!

  • congratulations on your marriage! And I wish you luck :D

  • Best of luck.

  • Best of luck.

I hope everything goes well for you I'm looking forward to hearing more about this.

  • Amen! I have friends that just adopted a 14 month old... They are understanding the joy more and more everyday. You will bond with your adopted child and it will be a blessing for all. Even we subscriber types... thanks for letting us join you on this wonderful journey! God bless you.

  • i was adopted and prolly will adopt when im older

    best of luck!

    we dont bite!

  • hehe.. that's awesome!

  • good luck!!!

  • I am so happy for you guys, you are like the perfect couple! I hope you stay together forever!

    Esther + Nick forever :D

    Love ya

p.s. I'm so happy that you are sharing this and keeping us updaited ;D

  • Wow good for you and your husband! It doesn't seem very common for such a young couple to consider adoption. You both seem like very compassionate and intelligent people. I wish you the best of luck!

Also, props for donating to the Ron Paul campaign!

  • I don't really understand why people wouldn't be supportive. I'm adopted and my sister is half adopted. Our family couldn't be happier.

  • that's fantastic... I think it's just that there are always going to be misconceptions about things that are unfamiliar or less common.

  • hmm im up for adoption,, ADOPT ME!!! i love MILF,,, sorry for my typo :D JK!!! but good luck with ur Adoption, a thought come to mind when people look at ur kid and they dont know that he/she is adopted they might think u cheated on ur husband lol hope not,,,

  • Well that's possible I suppose - although that's definitely not a factor or something to worry about... we could have a biological child with features like red hair that could raise the same question among strangers. Anyone that counted in our life would know the truth & you can't worry or stop what random strangers think. :)

  • I am rooting for you on this! But your age may be held against you. You are very young still and agencies may not be comfortable with that.

  • Yeah, age is a factor for some countries but it's typically 25 (although a few require the couple to be at least 30)... so we're just old enough to be accepted by the majority of them. :)

  • That is good and comforting for me because I am 34 and wanting to adopt as well. I hope you make more videos about this so I can follow your journey.

  • I wish you the best of luck.

I also have some issues that make it unclear if I will be able to conceive naturally and adoption is certainly something I have considered. I look forward to reading more about your journey.

  • part 2

And after you have the kid there will be times when you want to just not do it because they are being what kids are. Take a break at that point. Eventually they will all want the same thing. IPODS, computers, cloths, etc... Don't expect alot of appreciation to your face either. You may have to hear that from other people.

  • We are going through the adoptions process with an older child (girl 12). Although CA practically pays you to adopt kids, it's going to be expensive. And be patient. BE VERY PATIENT. Laws, process, laywers, meetings, travel. Then you wait for the match.

  • Good luck!

I really can't imagine that people will get irritated because you wish to adopt a inter-racial child.

Even McCain adopted a inter-racial child.

  • Sorry...I didn't watch the video before I posted the comment. I never do that usually. Good luck!

  • Are you planning to have your own also?

  • Congrats on the adoption process! I'm excited for you! Good Luck!

  • Considering how many homeless children there are in the world its sad the whole process has been turned into a money mill for middlemen...

    Pappy mumbled it...

  • Some ppl care too much about where her adopted child comes from.

Perhaps its a matter of worth. One baby is much more deserving than another based on cuteness, who their parents were, and where they were born. We'd have to have subcategories. The parents could be from America and then moved to another country and died, thus leaving child behind.

You know what lets make this a politically motivated decision. Is the child from a red or a blue state?

  • Congratulation to this noble idea, but child somewhere from abroad with uncertain personal history can be problem for rest of your life. Better try to work on Your own child as hard as You can.

  • international adoption is the shiznit

  • Adoption is a beautiful thing , I honestly dont know why anyone would have a problem with any kind of adoption ! I probably will not be able to have anymore children , and would LOVE to adopt , but we just cant afford it .:( Best of luck to yall , I really hope it works out for you !

  • It IS expensive and sadly that means a lot of people won't consider it because of that.. BUT there's a $10,000 tax credit and there are tons of grants/low interest (1-2%) loans for families who want to adopt but can't cough up the money right away. It's really sad to me how many kids get left in foster care and orphanages because of the initial cost. :(

  • "I do feel for the children of other counries but when you see children from your own home country living their entire lives in foster homes because someone wanted a (for example) child from China instead of them it just breaks my heart."

Huh? every human is equal, why do want to put one country over another, it's just pointless arbitrary border lines. I think ay child from anywhere deserves a loving parent.

  • wow. this is amazing. you are such a great person esther!

  • You're going to be a fantastic parent, good luck to you.

  • If it doesn't matter you should REALLY adopt from our country. It is like you want an accessory the way you are talking about it! Re think your decision please, there are so many children here that need good homes.

  • I admire you for sharing this with everyone, I wish though that you would have thought of adopting in our country. There are SO many children here in need of families, with plenty of oportunities for interatial adoption here. I do feel for the children of other counries but when you see children from your own home country living their entire lives in foster homes because someone wanted a (for example) child from China instead of them it just breaks my heart.

Good luck to you both. : )

  • Just be sure you aren't doing it for "moral high horse" reasons.

  • Do you ask couples who are trying to get pregnant if it's for "moral high horse" reasons?

  • Not generally. There's definitely a trend to adopt international babies nowadays, though, and the main reason for it is "moral high horse" reasons. There are great kids to adopt overseas for sure, but you want to be sure you're doing it for the right reasons and not to be trendy. I'd say, even if a tiny bit of you thinks adopting internationally is "cool", that you need to rethink this decision.

  • Oh this is so exciting! I really look forward to hearing more about how you feel about the issues and what your plans are. I think adoption is great, either domestic or international. There are tons of kids that need homes. And I totally agree... having a record of this process for your kids will be very cool.

  • That is awesome. I was adopted as a baby

  • I didn't know that!

  • why adoption why not to have your own kid

  • I suppose I'd just ask, "why not adopt?" There are millions of babies & children who need families.

  • oh i wrote that before i heard the medical reasons. sorry =(

  • Youre not going to try to have your own kids Just adopting? Im getting married on August 16th

  • Like I said.. we'd be happy to have one biological but it's not like adopting a baby makes him/her any less ours. :) Congrats on your upcoming wedding!!

  • I am really happy that you are adopting. Every child needs a parent. I want to adopt nationally though. Good luck and good sanity during the waiting period and paperwork!

  • That's fabulous! I know a couple that did two open adoptions here in the States and it worked out perfectly for their family! =)

  • You donated to Ron Paul!

    whoaaah...

  • I did.. I have to admit he's not the only one I donated to though. :)

  • There are so many kids in the world that would love to have a mother like you.

Why keep bringing children to the world when there are others that need you already?

You are doing the right thing.

  • make a kid

  • Adoption is a very noble cause, no matter in which country you adopt. I admire you so much, I always have. Now I get to admire Nick too. You both ROCK!

  • google adoption scams . GBU

  • Adoption is great, no matter where the child is from. You are doing a great thing =)

  • i think you are such an amazing and beautiful person marshallah.

  • i read somewhere 'Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless.' that's exactly what you're doing so i say all the best in this. and it's cool that you're prepared to talk about it on youtube. perhaps you'll be as much of an inspiration in this area as you are in weightloss!

  • best of luck on your journey with adoption.

  • Best of luck with your journey. I had a friend who adopted two boys (at separate times) from Russia. It was a HUGE celebratory time for the family. All the best!!!

  • That's awesome! :)

  • People have a problem with international, interracial adoption?? I think it's awesome. I'm still young but I've always thought of doing this too because I know that there's so many kids in need of a family all over the world.
