  • @lakay20 Ang pineApple chunks ay optional w/c means pedeng wala,pedeng meron. Pero meron man o wla,hindi ito mxadong mkakaapekto sa lasa ng dish.

  • @nautickalon , bakit pag nag luluto ka ba? hindi ka nag huhugas ng kamay. Masarap ang lutuin pag may kasamang pag mamahal, at isa sa paraan ng pag luluto na may pag mamahal ang ang pag gamit ng kamay na MALINIS.

  • goat meat is mutton..if lalagyan ko ng pineapple chunks kailan ko po pwedeng ilagay yung pineapple chunks? kailangan pa po ba talagang lagyan ng kamatis? or kahit hindi na? salamat po at more powers po sa inyo..ang dami kong natutunang luto sa inyo..mahilig po kasi akong magluto..

  • @yugioh2463 ..yup!! condensed milk will make kaldereta more sweeter.. try to put some hot dog and raisins..

  • @Itoldchu It was not peanut butter but liver spread. The actual recipe includes goat liver but you have to cook it then chop the goat liver but liver spread is used as replacement. My version is better because this dish is a spanish-morrocan dish brought over to the Philippines during the colonial times and it includes pickles, saffron or paprika as well as spanish cheese which is added in the end

    Try the Caldereta de cabrito at Alba's Spanish restaurant in the Philippines.

  • Could I substitute goat meat with chicken or beef? Also, I don't really like olives, if I don't add it, will it be a different flavour?

    and yeah you don't have to use Tomato if you saute because you have tomato sauce

  • In California, we buy live goat and butcher it ourselves at the location, usually the place is at an unincorporated rural farming area. As you can tell, we can make authentic dinuguan, pinapaitan, kaldereta, etc. from the butchered meat. Yummy.

  • Depending on your location in the U.S., you can buy packaged goat meat at Seafood City Supermarket (a Filipino variety store) located in various locations in California. Check Chinese or Asian variety stores, as well.

  • yes u can and you can use pork too as well.i use butter as my oil and i put oytser sause after the tomato sauce,one more option is to add sum pine apple chunks,damn im craving na for caldereta,
