  • i was there for dis crash it was mad. (:

  • Too much grip

    Not enough slip

  • @auswolf350 - you said it!

  • i was there GO TASSIE

  • Seems silly not to run this class in the clockwise direction.

  • i was there, and it was huge, awesome quality, nice vid.

  • @cd23terra We also have drivers on the left in New Zealand. Im guessing it is so the driver is on the inner side of the trace rather than next to the wall. In the production car classes of speedway (run on different tracks) the driver is on the right and they run in the opposite direction. (clock wise)

  • He was on his own and just rolled. How often does this happen?

  • @mr1000rx - not really sure... but they are shorter and narrower (wheel base) and seem to have a higher center of gravity than a US Late Model and you can see the MASSIVE tires so.... guess a really hooked up track is a little treacherous for those guys!

  • @mr1000rx probably quite abit when the driver sitson the wrong side of the cockpit...hahahha...silly Aussies.

  • @mr1000rx It's very rare for something like that to happen. In fact it's even rare that a Super Sedan will lift it's left front wheel in the air.

It's an extremely odd crash, I'm puzzled by how a Super would pick up it's whole left side and tip all on it's own. I've seen a similar crash to that, but the Super had been turned into the wall by another car and it dug in and over it went.

  • with everyone trying to get more left side weight, it confuses me why they would put their drivers on the right side. i understand that their regular cars are that way, but that seems counterproductive even at a safty standpoint.

  • @cd23terra - It is peculiar. Aussies also have a Late Model division that uses left hand drive cars like in US so the Super Sedans must be right drive for some reason. I'm told the Super Sedans are significantly smaller than a late model also.

  • @DirtDogTV

The Super Sedans are about the same size as the Late Models but are restricted to cast iron 350ci engines blocks. The reason they are right hand drive is because Australia has right hand drive in our road cars, so it's to keep it real to the local manufacturers. It's stupid but the ruling body doesn't want to change it.

  • @DirtDogTV yeah, Super Sedans are shorter and have less power than normal Late Models

  • wow

  • good to see he was ok

  • @Prensftw US TOO!!!
