  • Thanks for the replay. there are chamber mufflers.

  • i like this vid alot it gives me a idea of what my 327 might sound like im goin with a comp cam extreme energy .519 / .523 lift cam with a set of aluminum dart heads and a airgape intake mines has been bord 30 over as well great vid she sound nice

  • thanks for the reply, let me no how things turn out with yours.

  • Damn thatz SEXY

  • HAHA i love your rear axle! xD

  • who else jizzed their pant at 3:42

  • now thats a mean sound

  • When i go to sleep at night i hear this under my bed...........it's intimidating.....

  • @ChasingFlies funny thanks

  • did you use the stock tranny?? and do u know wat kind of tranny it supposed to have

  • I have M22 4 speed tranny install in the car, I need to what year car you have to help with it.

  • The car is a 82 camaro rock crusher M-22 4 speed it's been holding up well hard take off.

  • What model cam do you have?

  • The cam is a order grind install install in the motor. But a good street cam that scheinder his there 288h# 108 lobe 485 lift dur 230/230 this will give a nice cam sound. There's guy on you tube his this cam instll in his 327.

  • any track times?

  • @GCSeeg09 My best time was 11:08 at a trap speed of 123

  • @kzkicking I have an '88 firebird, really considering running a muncie in mine. 355 13:1, crane 256/264 @ .050 105 LSA .582/.600 with 1.6 rockers. Haven't decided on heads yet... probably going with Brodix IK 200's built to match my motor, and a World Motown single plane intake. Based on the weight of these cars, and using the appropriate gear (assuming with adequate traction) What could expected track times be. I have no experience building a 3rd gen car, this is a whole new ball game for me

  • @GCSeeg09 Man the 3-gen body style took some time to grow on me. Motor bay was not made for high hp motor make sure all air dams are inplace help air to cool the motor, and you will need a good cooling system. And find a good way to get the heat out. This was my big problem... On my other car over the years motor was always kinda open where heat can go out on the sides of the headers. I have install 2 engine temp 1 in the heads and 1 in the intake it show' a 155intake/190heads

  • @kzkicking I have the air gap intake, Man the stat is high flow 160 temp on intake stayed at 155 the heads temp wood go up. So I drilled 1 hole in the stat to get the intake temp to help some of the hot water to flow around to open up the stat 160 now it show's 168intake/185 heads. The world intake 4150 is a very good intake that would be my next intake to get. Time on your is hard to say driver and getting the tires to hook. But 13.1 pistons goods 411 to 456 gearing 950cfm mid 10s

  • @kzkicking I'd like to crack even the high 11's, I know it's got potential, but getting it to hook, and then hook without breaking everything is going to be a little bit of a challenge! ha ha. What rear end did you decide to go with, I've put a lot of thought into the Ford 8.8 conversion, and eliminating the torque arm, with traction action lift bars to allow more room for exhaust clearance, as well as not having to worry about the provision on the rear differential. Really like your car though!

  • @kzkicking you have done a great job with your third gen bowtie!

  • hey nice camaro. im 17 and just got an 84 z28 the guages in mine are the same as yours. yours is the only other one iv ever really seen with the tach as a gas guage why is that. are those guages rare or something. thanks

  • Thanks, No the tech is for the rpms, the stock gas gauge and the speedometer is hook up for now will pull them out soon and replace them.

  • @kzkicking yeah i know that. but all the iroc guage clusters iv seen have the left big circle guage as an spedo and the right big circle guage as an rpm guage. mine and yours are the only ones iv seen that has the spedo go up to 85 and the right big circle is a gas guage.

  • The car had V6 motor in it, most low power motor had up to 85 on the speedometer gauge. I go most be the tech any way at the track. But maybe next year will be pulling

the hold cluster out the only thing works is the gas gauge and the speedometer.

  • @kzkicking nice. so my cars has a v8 so it was originally a v6 then?

  • Your Vin number will tell you what cam in the car. Some V8 was low powered, Some

one may have change your cluster.

  • @kzkicking ite. well thanks alot for the info i appreciate it. and nice car again.

  • @kzkicking where did you find that hood my friend? I would love to find something similar for my 88 firebird

  • The hood is a GM hood that was sold through there parts department not sure if they still have them.

  • @kzkicking thats alright then, either way nicde ride, I really like the "old school" drivetrain with the 327 and the 4 speed. Nothing like a high winding 327 is there?

  • I'm very happy with the set up, it runs very good I shift at 7500 rpm

    but mostly at 7200

  • love the sound of the exhaust and gear drive.

  • Thanks
