Jesus christ, this is the Saints. Ive lived in Louisiana all my life and while I love this team, they arent hard hitting enough to purposefully pull off stunts like that. Scott just slipped and screwed up like most Saints players do from time to time.

You can see his knees hit the ground before he touches Smith. Looks like he slipped to me. You can hit a WR within 5 yards of the line of scrimmage before the ball was thrown, just not that low. A flag should have been thrown but the hit down low wasn't intentional.
Fujita tried to intentionally take out Steve Smith's legs, which are his livelihood. That is about as dirty as you can get. It wasn't mentioned in the news because the media is too busy hugging the Saints collective nut sacks.
The top comments say he isnt a dirty player....but fujita put his shoulder into steve's legs before the ball was released...that was a dirty shot
