This guy is awesome because at first he seems like such a dry, nerdy kind of guy, but god DAMN he can rock hard on that thing. And he makes it look SO fuckin' easy.
the stick is one of the most versatile among other instruments, if not the most...you can play rock, metal, ajazz, fusion, all kind of latin rythm...dang it's like playing a universe
megatars are cheaper, and IMHO they sound better, especially if youre a bass guitar convert.and mobius has a really sweet layaway plan as an alternative to cash/credit etc.
Man I remember seeing Tony Levin in 83 with King Crimson, guys are awsome, now this guy is fantastic. My other favorite Bass player is Percy Jones, look him up man, he is fantastic!
Ugh.... I cant rub my stomach and tap my head at the same time, but i have always loved the thought of playing either a chapman or a warr guitar. they just seem like so much fun.
That is the craziest instrument i have ever seen. It looks like it takes so much concentration and you really seem like have to know all you scales, keys, and progressions to play it. That groove at 1:30 is amazing!
my dad went on tour with this guy

is this fretless? because it looks like he's vibrato
slappingpopping 1 year ago
@slappingpopping It doesn't have to be fretless to be capable of vibrato. A normal guitar isn't fretless either
Panserbjorn 1 year ago
yea i know but i cant see frets. i know this is pretty low quality but yea i cant even see one line
slappingpopping 1 year ago
That really beautiful classical example he plays, what is that??
bigbassalex 1 year ago
@bigbassalex it's called Sangre de Cristo by Greg Howard himself
Wallbankio 1 year ago
It's like a piano with vibrato and bending functions. So it probably should be the most versatile instrument.
