  • danm it's awsome

I would love to liv in a cyberpunk world...... or a steampunk world, whatever,

    but a "-punk" world

  • The only word which i can say is "yeah". I Really love BLame and i think is the best manga i've ever read.

  • CRY NARUTO...CRY BITCH!

  • Blame is freaky shit, and yet, it's got a cool story line!

  • Is this the ONA? I really need to find a torrent for this. I fucking adore Nihei's work.

  • you spanish people should really learn a little bit of english, i cant believe how ignorant your nation is, when ever some spanish dude comes he talks and writes on spanish like his language should know every single person on earth...its just primitive ! comprendes ?

  • @TetrapakProdzekt Shut the fuck up asshole, ignorant nation?

your country is one of the most ignorant nations in the world, fucking americans think they are the center of the world and a stupid empire, you should learn spanish idiot, you dont even have a damn culture, you just copy everything else from other countrys, AMERICA = CONTINENT

dont take america as an unique nation..... shit dude.....

    VIVA LATINOAMERICA y TODO LATINO!!!

  • @kekegenkamaru you wrote all that and you didnt even come to my profile to see where i am from ? i am from SERBIA and we DONT LIKE america, we think its the most idiotic nation in the world, and most destructible with nothing good but a law and punishment system....so i am not from america...so now get back here and type me another message !

  • @TetrapakProdzekt mmm i dont get into peoples profile, pss i wrote all that just for nothig sorry ¬¬

well whatever i hope some cracker watch my comment, i dont hate any people... i just HATE that a lot of americans think they are the center of the world and they are so stupid, not all of them of course.

But yeah, i dont even know why they call themselves americans.

  • @kekegenkamaru Dude i'm American and even we hate our country. Don't judge us by the people who run our Country. Money is power here, and the people with power are retarded.

  • is this the net's offspring?

  • biomega needs an anime seriously! its wayy to good, and would really be a lot nicer looking forward to than the typical generic anime.

  • who's thw outro music?

  • we should build these structures on other planets as well, if or when we find them, in the future.....

  • BLAME and Biomega the same thing or the same artist?

  • First come NOISE, then BIOMEGA u ABARA, and at the last BLAME!. You must to reading in that way.

  • one great thing about these Logs are they capture the suspense and stillness of the manga, Blame's not about all out action.

  • @itchcitizen2 Exactly !

  • IS this episode one? or just a part of it?

  • @Bobban it is episode 1 , but you must have on mind that the anime dont have any argument or stucture . Some scnes can be about the last manga numbers but the right nex sene can be the beginig . Some others newer happened in the manga .

  • my fav manga

  • @NusuttoRedMoon666 >

It's depressing alright T_T shows you how short human life really is. It has its dark sides, i'm not sure about the bright side of this manga. But it really can get a guy depressed :(

  • Well hey at least's it's a dayum pretty anime

  • @SavageFapper well yeah. that's also why this short anime series is basically an advertisement for the manga.

  • I saw the dvd box for this, and I was like "this looks too close to wolverine's Snikt! comic books. Turned out, it's done by the same guy! Looks awesome too, now I gotta get this, because I really fell in love with Snikt!'s art style and story.

  • @bbqjjj Tsutomu is a Korean mangaka (a manwha artist or whatever you wanna call them), so yeahh, makes sense that the anime has some Korean

  • @BenjiCG144 it not Korean it Japanese... go to wikipedia and see...

  • @qazacoatl whoops, i fail :C

  • These clips are meant as a bonus to the Manga, and should only be taken as such. Do NOT expect any plot in these. They are merely animated (short) scenes from the Manga.

  • 5 minutes--nothing happens

sure looks like anime to me.

  • @elchoaro800 > it's five minutes to you and hundreds of years to the main character. You just don't get it. Maybe your life has action scenes every second, but in the huge world where you meet another human every ten years its quite different.

In those kind of circumstances 5 minutes of still images might be a lot more valuable than a 5 minute video of matrix-style hit and punch fights

  • @PhaetonLT Use whatever excuses you want... it's cheap limited animation.

  • @elchoaro800 Every animation has it's value :) Even if its a still image ^_^

I'm not sure what you are comparing blame to but you are not on the right track, imho.

If you need something rich go on and watch what ever you like :)

From how I see this Blame! logs are great as they are ^_^ luv them

  • @PhaetonLT Read into it however you want, it's still some of the cheapest, most shoddy animation I've ever seen.

  • magic 4 your mind

    blame = nice brainfuck trip

hope biomega will be also succesfull

  • This Guy look EXACTLY like the dude from Biomega.

Anyway, someone knows the Song at the Ending?

  • @Spanko91 note : in his world normally are many clones, parallel dimensions/existence etc. its not that big of a surprise is it =)

  • Comment removed

  • maybe in your head....or maybe in your mind.

  • maybe on earth... maybe in the future...

  • @starshipdan yeah!:D

  • i read that these animated logs were actually a project to show nihei himself what a possible BLAME! movie/series could look like...thats why its so short, confusing and sometimes different from the manga...(just as note for all the peeps who dont understand it at all^^try the manga...its worth a look :P)

  • @wassereischmeckt

o lol ok that makes sense, thanks.

  • what the hell!! I've read the first part of the manga and things actually happened! who the hell decided that a 5 min envirnment intro was a good idea anyway?!

  • whats the name of the ending song please???

  • I really don't understand this manga but its so awesome

  • I wonder why there's a fish.

  • that'sgrat i'd like to see biomega and abara

  • i like the mood and atmosphere, but i'm confused.

  • thank you

  • this is so difrent from the manga, still it is awsome none the less.

  • Yeah these are tiny little fragments of the Manga, I would love to see a whole series.

  • lolol Killy

  • it has also greate music, sounds like dark jazz/ drone doom.

does anyone know who the artist/ musican is?

  • damn i love this. are all logs translated in english?

  • yeah you can get them all on dvd for reall cheap, i got the whole series brand new for ten buscks man, I watched it and i was like holy fuck this show is weird. watch this high omggggggggg.

  • it´s because you havent read the manga most likely.

you HAVE TO READ it so you understand this. it have the full story. these are just shorts from here and there throughout the series.

  • yeah i believe you, did you buy it online? if yes where?

  • ebay bud ebay lol

  • yo I like tsutomu nihei style. already saw blame at years ago and want to find files of 'Abara' and 'Biomega' that korean interpreted

  • the fish reflected on the building is from angel's egg!

  • Os efeitos sonoros, me hipnotizam.

  • these videos are brilliant

  • I'd say abara and biomega are equally related to each other as noise and blame are.

I can't really say which is the best to begin with, they're all worth it

  • i'm confused.

is blame, noise, biomega, and abara all part of the same story line!? i know their from the same author but im just confused.

if they are part of the same story line, can someone explain what order it is?

  • Noise is a prequal to Blame, and pretty much explains how the megastructure started expanding, and how the world of Blame came to be. As for Biomega, I don't believe it's related to the other two. It just takes place in a similar universe.

  • so i should read noise, then blame. and then biomega and abara if i want to?

  • YES

  • No read Blame! first, and Noise after. You will have more surprises. Biomega, Abara & Blame! are differents sagas so you can read Biomega and Abara before Blame!, there's no problems.

  • No, god no.

Read them in the order they were written.

  • Blame is awesome!

  • Biomega is the story of how "the city" came to be.

"The city" in blame looks desolate and abandoned, but from what i can tell from reading biomega, it was once a eutopia for everyone living inside. But due to some virus, the city went spiraling out of control and expanded infinitely into space.

  • biomega isn´t any prequel to blame!

they got same charachters, but so does many tsutomu nihei´s mangas, he uses a lot of same looking charachter as killy.

I´d say biomega is pararrel world based prequel, but it definately isnt actual prequel to blame!, blame!´s prequel is NOISE and sequel is blame!^2 and blame! netsphere engineer

  • never read a better story, its better than berserk 2

  • i looked up blame 2 and it said its a one shot manga? wut does that mean...

  • I think a one shot manga is a very short manga series meaning there'll only be a few chapters.

  • actually 1 chapter

  • What do you mean?

  • one shot mangas

    only have 1 chapter

  • Oh, I wasn't sure what you were replying to as I posted that like a month ago so I was like "Wtf is this guy talking about"

  • i just finish readin d manga and boi shit is hetick jus waitin for chapter 67 to com out

  • there aint coming 67. it´s over. but you can check sequel named blame!^2 and blame! net sphere engineer, or prequel NOiSE. of course there´s also biomega which´s based on some sort of pararrel world or something, it has many similiarities.

  • I saw this at Fry's, and it had a Sillicon T-shirt with it, and I assumed that they had made it into an anime, but the running length was 37 min., and I didn't really think it was worth $20... But I liked the shirt. I read NOiSE!, but didn't really get it, and I like the art style- any ideas? Should I just buy it anyway? And, apparently, there's more than one BLAME! branch, like what they did with Macross?

  • Wait so it was $20, cuz i saw it too but i didn't see the price on it

es asta mejor q ghost in the shell mas bizarro

  • just started reading the manga today. I'm in love with the vast industrial artwork involved.

  • Yeah! The artwork is what sparked my interest too.

Now they just need to start publishing the sequels and prequels here...

  • can someone please reply blame! looks good and i might buy it but im not sure can someone tell me if its a good manga and other mangas suggested

  • It's beyond awesome. If you like it, you could try Biomega, by the same author.

  • Very good - especially if you are a fan of cyberpunk/transhuman fiction.

  • It's friggin awesome!

It's very original, artwork is amazing and there's tons of action!

Biomega is the sequel, but it's not available in Finland... =(

  • actually biomega isnt sequel, it´s actually like prequel, if even that, it´s like its prequel and its happening in a pararrel world, or something close to that. it have many similiarities, but it probably isnt prequel, but sequel it definately isnt.

blame!´s sequel is blame!: net sphere engineer and blame!^2. blame!^2 is one shot, and blame!: NSE have only one chapter released so far. I recommend you to read them online.

  • can you tell where you can find them???

  • character count isn´t enough. so sended ya message.

  • I love the atmosphere.... it is so powerful and lucid.

  • ljflajfkdasf SO IT REALLY HAS ANIME!?

OMG I WANT THE MOVIE! DX

  • is it only five min long? or they have more?

  • you should delete this...

it is not the right place for this

  • what do you mean?

  • lol XD

  • Woot these are so awesome to watch!

REALLY!!? There will be a BLAME! movie?

I'll just HAVE to see it!

  • Apparently a full length CGI movie is in the making about this series.

  • Well, hope they don't screw it up then...

  • i dont they think they will!!!

apparently stutomu nihei is very involved in its making so it should be good!!!

  • Well, hope they don't screw it up then...

  • this is awesome! i like how the music and scenery match! although i admit that the manga is better, this is great too!

  • They are in fact pretty short and that is, because these seven episodes that contain characters and style of the Manga are only trailers that have been produced to show Tsutomo Nihei the possibilities of a Blame! anime. Unfortunatle he was not content with this realisation, so the series has never been further elaborated.

  • that makes sense he just wasn't satisfyed be what the anime would be so it was never really made.

I've read 1 chapter of the manga and it was soo confusing i decided to stop and look for an anime version, but this is all i found and i was like..."WTF!" But Then I thought about it and I reralized that that artwork was FUCKING CRAZY!! So I wikied it and it seems like a MUST read, along with the prequels and two sequels. im fascinated!...im gona go and give the manga a second shot! it seems epic

  • Well, there's actually two prequels (NOISE and Biomega) and a sequel (Net Sphere Engineer). However, Biomega translations are hard to come by, and NSE is not being release regularly in Japan, and naturally scanlations are impossible to find.

  • Saw these before, watched them again. They suck just as bad.

  • too much lighting too much color

    this sucks

they have no respect for Nihei and his oroginal work

  • man u are totally wrong too much light? it make a contrast... light and darkness i love the sound is so creepy i really believe they caught the spirit of manga all my respect

  • but*

  • the manga was awesome nut wth is this XP lol

  • Would it make me a fanboy to declare that Japanese animation is better than American animation, period?

  • Yes. An absolute statement based on a generalization that is faulty.

Watch anime and you'd notice some pretty nonsense animation because of lack of funding. Good anime? they're there. Bad anime? They're also there. Good cartoons? yup. Bad cartoons? yup. Both have merits and demerits.

  • I like this reply! It's rare to see something so unbiased on youtube.

  • man everything has 2 side.,

    i mean like american cartoon.,

there are a serious story and a having fun story.,so in japan too.,there are serious anime like this one.,and another anime for just having fun too.,

so.,.you are the stupid idiot baka,..!!!

  • BLAME is much better than Spawn...much better...and that's coming from a Spawn fan.

  • @KeroroGunsouTX

i dont see anything animated here..... japanese animation will NEVER be better than american animation

japanese might have better story etc but animation... cmon.. i watch this video for 3 minutes and its just some pictures with fade filter and pan lol

    i dont see any animation

  • @Lidve1337 > You are a funny little guy :)

  • Awesome! thx for uploading!

If I'm right, Nihei didn't want an anime because he didn't like these trailers. I can uderstand. Although they are really great, they're not as good as the manga(best ever!)

  • Gangsterdelic

  • Tsutomu Nihei is so fucking awesome.

  • awesome!! good to see at least some parts of the manga as an animation

  • I finish the manga and it was still slightly confusing

  • so uh, wat happened at the end of blame? can some one explain.

  • awesome!! good to see at least some parts of the manga as an animation

  • One thing that bothers me about this and the cg movie:

    Where's the blood?

  • This would be so confusing if I hadn't read the manga XD by the way, go read Biomega, it's by the same guy and is just as neat. here are 3 words to spark your interest in it(if you've read blame anyway): Toha Heavy Industries.

  • certainly did spark it. thx :>

  • that's because Biomega is a prequel to Blame! and explains how the megastructure came to be

  • I had wondered, but the place which I'm reading it on doesn't have many of the chapters.

  • ...what? sorry that was a bit incoherent. If anything Biomega isn't even finished yet so we can still decipher more of this blame goodiness

  • XD sorry about that, I tend to be incoherent unless I think really hard about it. What I meant was: Even though I saw the similarities between biomega and Blame, I've read a few manga authors where they just use similar styles and ideas and characters designs, even in wildly different series.

  • lol look biomega up in wikipedia or heck any manga site which holds a synopsis. It's an official prequel.

  • Apparently, a CGI movie might come out... this is from wikipedia, though.

  • Nice Song

  • blame's setting is amazingly convicting, without many dialogues the whole realm is created throughout imagination... one of the greatest mangas, in my opinion, the anime can't top the feeling you get reading one of the books and barely knowing anything at the end of the first three parts but experiencing the whole atmosphere is brilliantly made by Nihei.

  • o.ô...das war der 1. log?....wow is das fad he, aba gut gezeichnet

  • I was waiting for them to turn this into anime for so long. Its good but the manga is really so amazing.

  • the manga was amazing, it had sparse dialogue but was able to get the story across through imagery (if you were an observant person). it rates up there with Dark Knight Returns and Akira in the realm of comics & manga.

  • ARE YOU SERIOUS...?!

  • the original manga is much better. Nihei wasn´t agree with the anime version...

  • The manga has a dystopian darkness this anime doesn't quite convey. Also, the manga may have very sparse dialogue, but its plot has structure which this clip cannot map out with its length.

  • Blame! :P my favorite. haven't seen anything like it and mangas of this artist are the one of the best out there, anyone who even trys to think otherwise can stop breathing right about NOW! and from what i heard this episode shows only the world that killy lives in, the megastructure... and i would like to ask anyone who seen this or read manga: what you think will the world be any similar in the far far future? or will we destroy are selfs before any future things can happen?:)

  • You know, it's very possible. Computers are getting more and more intelligent every year, buildings are being built at an alarming rate, and there is less and less forestry. I don't think that we'll be slaughtered by a bunch of crazy Silicon creatures, but I do think that Mega-structures such as the one(s) seen in Blame! are a definite possibility.

  • 1 out 2 human beings live off less than 2 dollars/day

As long as those are alive, that's far from being a reality.

Because no one is going to build mega structures if there will be a oozing mass of people rubbing their greasy fingers and unclean faces on a perfectly good architectonic project

  • The mega-structures weren't built by humans.

  • i like it...thx for the upppppload XD

  • i dont think a BLAME! movie could maintain the same feeling as the Manga could. To much happens in the manga that wouldnt translate successfully in one movie. Plus people would hate it for the lack of dialouge. It'd kick ass as a tv series if its producers had enough money to keep up with all the flashiness

  • not sure what that was about but it looks cool!!

    cheers for the upload!

  • I. love. Blame! Thanks for putting this :D

Kind of wish it had more content though?

  • From this one only, but it provided little information, otherwise more on the manga base. I was expecting more of an episode other then a preview-like. I could have Imagen as i did when i was looking through the manga. Not actually pretty much disappointed but it was ok. Downfalls - short, no words, and i was thinking it would be more of a darker set with no sun hence he is on a very low level.

  • i disagree, in vol.1 maybe almost no word. but from vol 2-7 it became bit talkative... and more dark and gruesome.

  • hella boring

  • Well, the manga is awesome, the anime however is just in color so its less confusing, still, thanks for uploadin!

  • berzerk78 wrote:"There is more animation in the end credits than the anime itself"

Ha, that is well put! I think the "music" is weak. I like the visuals though.

  • I loved both the visuals and music in these...

  • the manga waz kool but the anime rocks!

  • omg im so happy i could pee! i luv blame!

  • I always thought those webisodes are too colorful. Somehow I always pictured the world of BLAME! in almost black-and-white or at least with highly stylized use of color like in SIN CITY for example. Yoshiaki Kawajiri should do a complete BLAME! movie some day but he seems to busy doing HIGHLANDER or NINJA SCROLL 2 or whatever. I will always have the manga I guess.

  • much more confusing and different from the manga..though killy looks cool :P

    thanks for uploading ^^
