Everyone comes into an issue with a history. To say Elisabeth is wrong, or Joy is wrong - maybe we should look at both sides and their merits instead of automatically dismissing what they are saying because a) they are rich, b) they are poor, c) they are Democrats, d) they are Republicans, etc.... There is some truth on both sides of the arguments. That is the problem with our lawmakers and why things are not changing.

@tslydic We won't stay in Libya. No way we can get away with that. We're already pulling out of Iraq leaving an extremely minor presence. We'll probably stay in Afghanistan though. Obama didn't mess up on Libya. We weren't a sole America presence, it was a NATO presence. That's fine, it works. Afghanistan... uh... screwy operation, we need to get the hell out of there. Iraq is pretty well done. Ron Paul isn't a bad choice but I dunno if he's the perfect choice. Probably the best we got though.

When are the people in this country realize the President has little to do with our economy except for proposing certain policies, which then must be approved by Congress, which then is usually so full of earmarks and changes it doesn't look like the original bill. Our economy is controlled by essentially one man and his buddies, The Fed Chairman and the Fed Board. The problem with our economy is the passage of too many Free Trade Pacts with poor low-waged countries.
