@almir908 HDMI? WiFi? Hardly copying. You need them to get by. And DO NOT get me started on Kinect/Eye Toy. The Eye Toy was a Digital Camera with primitive gesture recognition. Kinect has an RGB Camera, Infrared Projector and a monochrome CMOS sensor, as well as specifically developed full-body 3D motion capture, facial recognition, and voice recognition software. Also, the fact remains that PSN got hacked and Sony handled it terribly. The 360 came out when DVD was top-of-the-line too.

@BoySamusMetroid im pretty sure dvd was top of the line even before ps2 used it so saying its still top of the line years after when 360 was launched is underestimating manufacturers and hardware developers lol :)) and the comparison between eyetoy and kinect was not technical but in the idea of using a camera sensors in controlling gameplay. even a 5 year old would notice that :D if you wanna mention copying, ps3 = xbox seems more appropriate :D

Also, my point was that the extreme difference between the Eye Toy and Kinect is so large, it's a stretch to call it copying. So much more work and development went into creating and testing the Kinect so it would be ready for launch, and it obviously worked, since it is the fastest-selling piece of technology in history.

Do the math. Also, Microsoft did develop the tech specifically for the Kinect. The tech was initially developed by Rare, a subsidary of Microsoft Game Studios, obviously owned by Microsoft. Kinect works extremely well single-player, its multiplayer glitches a bit. And it soldover 8mil in first60days.
