@maxewiii yeah i know of course..... just wondering..... there are some other weightlifters who use unconventional techniques which seem inefficient but they still make it.... however, this split clean really boggles me...... as i can see, we cant really go very deep, hence it only enables power cleans, instead of deeper cleans... was there any weightlifter who succesfully employed this technique...?
@mursuleryf - I build my body with surfing, sk8ing pools, beach volleyball, trail-running, HIIT, yoga, bodyweight plyometrics. I only weight-train 2 times per week. Kettlebell too. - Max Wettstein.
hey im a beginner (as in only 1-2 months into weights) and ive been using this exercise in my routines. i heard recently that it is bad as i am a beginner.. is that true?
@OHHYESSAHH It doesn't matter if you're a beginner. You just have to make sure that your form is perfect. I suggest you watch some videos on power lifters doing this exercise. It's not difficult to master it just takes some practice. Also do not go heavy until you know that you have the form down you can easily injure yourself. Practice with the bar alone.
why do you split your legs while doing cleans..?
therockana 3 months ago
@therockana it's just one technique - you do not have to. you can also split your legs on the jerk & snatch too, but do not have to.
maxewiii 3 months ago
@maxewiii yeah but it doesnt look very efficient that way at all... hmmm....

@therockana talk to the Olympic committee. I didn't invent the split stance technique.

@LRkun I'm not performing a "clean & jerck" in this video.
maxewiii 4 months ago
@maxewiii i did not say you're doing a clean and jerk.

Though it has a low number of views, this video is excellent, prefectly demonstrating the exercises and techniques.
