The U.S. television commercial is so utterly annoying. I know the ISF is suppose to be the "bad boy" of the Lexus lineup but the commercial really doesn't sell it.

It's just annoying.

I'm sure it's quite fast but it pales in comparison to the ///M3 or C63 ///AMG.

I believe the "F" stands for fugly since it's one of the ugliest font choices for a badge.

The ISF itself has a few more curves than the usual bland Lexus but it's still too plain IMO.

today I was going car shopping and my choices were: '08 Honda Accord coupe v6, '07 Infiniti G35 coupe, '05 Porsche Boxster(I personally hated this one), and '08 Lexus IS250. Yep you guessed it, I'm definitely getting the IS250. It is so much fun to drive and the interior is so well done. There is as much luxury as there power.

Not a slow car, but by no means fast. Oh, and for the love of God avoid the tires that come on the 17" wheels! They are JUNK. If you can, get one of the 18" options available.

The new IS design is sort of odd to me. Sometimes it looks stunning and sometimes its like nah. I dont know why but I like the design of the first generation alittle more. Im glad the IS is growing up though. I wonder if the 3rd gen IS will continue this trend or continue its roots. I wonder what most people would want. 3rd gen based on 1st or 2nd gen?

i am also a lexus/japanese car fan, to be honest the IS 350 is better than the IS 250, i heard the IS 250 is a bad news bcoz of its handling responsivity and roading wasnt as good as the 3-series. now the IS 350 this year the handling and roading is more refined, 306 bhp 0-62.5mph in 4.0 sec hopefully im gona get my IS 350 soon ^_^

Theres a 700hp IS? Isn't the 350 the most powerful one they make with like 300hp? This was actually the car I really wanted but due to the high cost especially since its new so you can't find one used, I had to settle with an RSX-s. But now the car I REALLY want is the new twin turbo BMW 335!

Well many people underesitmate japanese machines. THe market will not drop the very expnesive engine on the cars sicne the car itself with a decent-above decent engine is pretty pricey. I just got one and I have to say it is the best car I have ever owned. AWD is awesome for winter months but I don't know yet as I just got it last month. Its an incredible machine and yeah its not cheap but you get what you pay for. I saved up a long time to get a car like this. I deserve it damn it! LOL! But it is kinda bummy when people think its a 2006 Hyundai Sonata or 2007 Toyota Camry!?!?!?!??!?! haha oh well.
