i don't understand why people do this to the LDS church. You always see jokes about mormons but never hear things about buddism and catholism jokes. And if you do hear jokes about them they are not as degrading as the mormon jokes are. No matter what religion shouldn't we all be kind to one another? They are now showing them before I view a video here and there which means they are PAYING for the spot. Posting the videos is always free on youtube, but if you want commercial airtime, you're dropping thousands to millions depending on how much time you want. Shouldn't the Mormons spend your hard earned tithing on helping the poor?
@xoxomissarixoxo uhm Excuse me but they are not bombing money. Most of these commercials are filmed by people in their area (for free) and posted to lds.org. So before you know yur facts, you shouldn't get all butt hurt. Oh and By the way, The tithing doesnt go to commercials. It goes to the bishops storehouse (a place where they donate food to the poor and etc.) And it helps pay for people who are in need. So calm your butt and stop jumping to cunclusions. Or just ask a mormon first.
@xoxomissarixoxo The Mormon church does help with that, but they also want to convert other people into being Mormon. THe money being spent on commercials is not being wasted in my opinion if even a small amount of people see it and decide to take a look at the website.
@xoxomissarixoxo i spent two years along with most of my friends who served missions for the mormon church supporting and giving aid to those in need all over the world, and we give 10% of every one of our pay checks to the less fortunate people in the world, and also try to be the first at any given natural disaster to give aid. hope that answers your question ;)
