Dangers are the main things to avoid hence most Biblical Prophecy is negative with a few positives. True prophecy is similar in reflection. The Prophecies then are God's way to give mankind advanced information and thus as you say save or reduce loss of life or property. You then pray against the negative prophecy. When I used the word fear, anger and sadnessin my message, I was posting the message on the May 21 judgment videos yesterday, telling all to look forward to Jesus' return any day and if He should return May 21 that will be a Great Day for those who are waiting for HIm.
