ur videos are amazing, I'm learning so much! but this video was one of the most confusing videos of all...you jump back and forth so quickly so much that its hard to keep up (yes I use pause) - been at it for hours, you need to somehow visually differentiate song's components (chorus, verse etc...Still, this is an amazing vid, just saying its hard to follow

@amanbansil lucky for you in reason 5 and 6 theirs somethign called blocks.

These blocks are blocks in a song structure "chorus, verse, intro etc."

if you get it, use it. Makes life 69 times easier.

@waynuuuuus duuuuuudeeeeeee thx for the tip man, I never really REALLY looked into Blocks...but I'm just now finishing up this song and man blocks made the job SOO MUCH EASIER!!! It's so much easier to keep track of things. Very cool

@amanbansil look up propellorhead software on youtube. they have a playlist with 52 reason/record tips. They don't really tteach you how to make patches but they actually show you how to use pretty much everything.

also, in subtractor you can unscrew the screws that hold the rack together.

I gave you five stars because I really admire everything that you're doing but I must admit I am a bit disappointed. I would've liked it if you had played us a bit more of each "section" so we can get a greater feel of the "build" or the "break". I'm still a little clueless as to what exactly a break is. Is it just a break from the drums? lol I get it now... I think

@mindlessranter a break can be as easy as taking the drums and percussion out, Or filtering them out slowly and then the build is either bringing in the chorus or verse (or drums /percussion ).. all dance music has this technique in it. It provides suspense and thats a good thing on the dancefloor. =) may sound academic but i thought I'd answer. Ive been a deejay for 13 years and daves right about doing things in reverse for the outro, Essentially an 'outro' is an intro arranged in reverse.

@australiandj do you actually write your own music? or do you only mashup other peoples music?

@add4never I write my own music when I produce, i think your refering to 'remixes'. with remixing, You get sent between 4-more parts or 'stems' of the original. You then still have to create a full track around that. for instance I got sent the parts to a sander van doorn track which consisted of a kick, Hi hats, the bassline, The lead, and the melody. I ended up using my own kick, percussion etc, And the lead I just remade with a synth called access virus ti. So remixing cn still b creative=)
