I wouldn't recommend anybody do this kind of stuff until their second playthrough. Working hard for your money is part of the experience, and is much more rewarding when you purchase a home.

@maaatx To do this you need the required amount of gold to buy the house, after that talk to him about purchasing the house. Once you click the option "I'll take it", back out of the dialogue and place your gold in any nearby container until you receive the key to the house. Hope this helps.

For glitch hatred, I like to glitch too. Try taking Shadowmere the horse which you get from the Dark Brotherhood, or a random horse, then go to Skyborn Alter, and fall onto the perched Dragon and continue to run. Flying horses is fun, what is wrong with glitches? They are hilarious.

Yes maybe Bethesda didn't really want people getting their 25k house for free, but it doesn't mean it's a glitch. A glitch would be something like the mannaquin apparel dupe.. it's really just being smart with the slow time trick
