I wish I knew if all the fighting was real. Some of it had to be staged. Nobody could last long in a shop where the guy that runs it likes to power trip on those under him. I have found Boyd's attitude to be outright unprofessional and his decision to let nobody leave on good terms reflects that. Honestly, I quit watching the show a long time ago. If I had bought a car from them and THEN saw the show I'd be like all over the thing with an X-Ray, Charlie was so right when he once stated that the stupid "deadlines" really affected the quality of their products. I don't think it's an interesting dramaturgi, I'd much rather see a show with people building stuff and NOT rushing it, rather taking their time to do everything proper...

I wish I knew if all the fighting was real. Some of it had to be staged. Nobody could last long in a shop where the guy that runs it likes to power trip on those under him. I have found Boyd's attitude to be outright unprofessional and his decision to let nobody leave on good terms reflects that. Honestly, I quit watching the show a long time ago. Boyd's little tantrums caused many of the other fights in the shop and all I wanted to do was throw beer cans at my tv.
