Hope this will be broadcasted here in Germany too. Looks like a very well done and stunning acted biopic. Well, even though I prefered the books of Astrid Lindgren in my childhood to those of E.B., I did not like the unrealistic "well behaviour" of the protagonists in E. Blytons books.

This looks amazing, btw. I hope I'll be able to see it in the States. HBC looks incredible, as usual, and her acting seems first-rate. Fingers crossed for awards for her..

As much as I love that BBC produces biopics like this, I wish a film company had taken this up and done it justice like "La Mome" or "Ray" or many other wonderful adaptations of people's lives. Helena's performance, is already, quite dazzling and it would have been nice to see the exact same thing as an international production, so she could gain the praise and nominations she would if done so. A BAFTA wouldn't be the only thing she would win.

Still, I can't wait for this release!

I really like the look of this. Helena is a fantastic actress she will certainly do Enid Blyton justice.

I just hope the writers of this haven't made Enid Blyton out to be too much of a ''bitch''. Just because although she has been accused of xenophobia amongst over things, I think her books are just fun childrens stories with no deliberate attempt to attack anyone.

Also they style of her writing is appropriate to the time she was living in and are obviously not going to be politically correct by todays standards!
