wow how the mighty have fallen!! Final Fantasy 13-2 sucks ass. It feels so outdated compared to skyrim & darksouls. They need to turn this over to another developer seriously. I feel sorry for FF fans who have to keep putting up with square-enix bullshit. When was the last time they even made a good game ??????

@teflon2105 It actually looks great. And FFXIII-2 (and the nearly confirmed FFXIII-3) is simply a way for them to use the engine they developed for FFXIII ('Crystal Tools') again, as well as continue a story.

Expect the eventual FFXV to have a new engine a likely be on the next cycle of consoles. Until then, it's sequels (FFXIII-2) and spin-offs (Verses) baby ;)

This is what FF XIII should've been in the first place. No more linear stages, more gameplay variety, different approaches to reach an objective and a kick ass soundtrack.

Still, I would like to play a more old fashioned Final Fantasy game, this futuristic setting just doesn't appeal to me enough.
