I have seen Jethro in La Paz, Bolivia (1996), with Ian Anderson performing in a wheelchair!! Apparently, he broke his leg in Lima, Peru, a few days before.. Awesome concert!

Several years ago now (when I looked good in a pair of jean's) me and a friend took another Sunday ride to Beddgelert from Liverpool, Three lads went and only two came back, it was my dear friend Ste, Setting back, coming out of Beddgelert to betw-y-coed, And as hallways the race was on, It was our time to live?. Many times about 7-8 of us had done that ride several times over the years,

one day one of us I don't know who said have you noticed that all the years we have been coming on this ride not one bike has ever overtaken us? Any way we joked many times of the near misses we had, and one day it's going to catch up to us and the inevitable did several times, but on this occasion my friend Ste was caching me up bit by bit until he over shot a bend and hi-sided in to a parked car in a layby He died in front of me.

Funny thing is me and Ste had made friends through having a disagreement.

I barely new him I had heard of his ability to knock people out, one day three of my friends had black eye cut lip from this lad for no apparent reason I don't think Ste needed one. As he finished beating my friends up he said tell (Tommy Crane that me) I'm going to fuck him as well? So I'm thinking he's just fucked my three friends Im in trouble (Shit Run AND HIDE) its not my style I took my coat off and knocked on his door

his brother opened the door and I said were is Ste he said he's in bed Tell him I called and away I went, several days past and I was standing with my mates all leaning on my car and someone said STE is coming down the road I thought FUCK here it go's, I turned as he got closer and he introduced himself and we were friends ever since later he said he had respect for me you don't get better than that RIP Ste, I dedicated this song to my mate STE at his funeral.
