I was waiting for that "making of" video you mentioned in the comments, but it looks like you haven't been able to make it yet. I was wondering...how thick is the acrylic sheet on top? And how did you wire the contact switches to the lights? it's been a couple years since you made this...has the light box withstood the test of time? Thanks!
...after seeing this video I used your guy's basic design and made it my own. I also have created a "how to" that has more detail and some build pictures! Thanks alot for the video guys...
MY HOW TO CAN BE FOUND AT: mynamesdirt.blogspot.com
hey yall. what kind of wood did you use to make this box? and about how much did each one cost you? any other tips you have for building them would be greatly appreciated as well. thanks
@elopez - ah! srry to hear man, i am going to make a more in depth video to show exactly how i did everything with shots of the wires and everything! gimme a few days to get it up here =)
@aheronamedhope hey guys. I'm really impressed with your music. SO DOPE! i saw that you said that you were ganna post a detailed video on how you made the boxes. I need help with the wiring and how you did all that stuff. if you could post that vid of how you did all the wiring and construction, i would be such a happy boy. Thanks guys:)
absolutely! they're called "momentary contacts" and you can find them pretty much any hardware store (home depot, menards, lowes, etc) they're very cheap! let me know if you have any other questions, best of luck! post a video response or a link when they're up and runnin! =)
Yo quick question. My band is trying to make a box like this but we cant find those sensors. What are they called, and where could we find them? Thanks so much
What type of momentary contact switch are you using? On-off? Or off-on?
