I don't think the US really understands that it's not just radical muslims but islam itself that we need to worry about. The UK was worried about the radicals that were supposed to be a small faction of UK muslims but they have "sharia law" in the UK and if you look that up you will see that the so called "good" or "moderate" muslims are running the show. Great video, the west must wakeup and protest against moslems before it is too late. The western authorities must condemn any religion that causes harm to humanity. I never said that Christians execute people for the crime of apostacy. Normally I don't agree with Newt Gingrich and I'm troubled about his statement about civil liberties, but he is right that we have a serious problem we need to work through. I love our constitution, the Bill of Rights and our freedoms. But how do you deal with a religion that says you must be executed if you convert to anything else. Here, Muslims are moderate and their beliefs are rightfully protected, but we need to figure out how to deal with the extremists.

I think the problem is with Islam as a whole even the moderates. As he said, we never hear any condemnation of these actions that are taken by Islamic extremists. Even few moderates speak out. You've probably identified the problem, since I'm in the group that would normally fight with reason and logic. However, what is the answer? We can't let religions destroy the Bill of Rights. The free exercise/establishment provisions of the First Amendment are pure genius that have worked for more than 200 years. We do have exceptions for cults that are not real religions, but with over one billion members, Islam would not qualify.
