Allthough I've always been a fan of Hellehammer I think Trym has something extra. I've been listening to "Prometheus - The Discipline of Fire & Demise" a whole lot the last year, and his drumming are excellent. That's don't look bad on a CV since I think it's maybe the best piece of music ever recorded.

@TheBigIchthebawski I like Trym very much, he's one of my preferred drummers... But, to be honest, Hellhammer is on another planet... Jan Axel is a lot more faster and infinitely more technical, no match... For me Prometheus is Trym's most complex and better work, but absolutely he can't compete with Hellhammer's work in Mayhem, Winds, Shining, Arcturus, Age Of Silence, Dimmu Borgir (they fail now, but HH is great), Nidingr, Carnivora, Jorn Lande, Mezzerschmitt and more...

Yep, I think that's one of the reasons (apart from his rhytmic abilities and sense for role of the drums in the composition), why Trym is one of the most incommutable drummers out there. His stamina, power and endurance makes him possible to play the drums loud and steady throught the whole concert. And that's, what metal drums should be, don't they? :)
