Can someone tell me how the video creator *watched* the trial of Kent Hovind? Is there a video of it somewhere? I asked this before but nobody responded.
He's exsposing the New world order!! He was locked up for not paying his taxes ( which there is no law) The man is a national hero of our "God" given rights and you have a channel bashing his belives against a courpt government that just signed you and your famliy's life's away! Yes obama signed it, congress passed it 93-7 the NDAA will allow them to detain and tortue and kill US citizens. And I'm not sure if you ever even stopped to read the bible but read MATTHEW 24 6-31, God bless you sir.
OMG YOU SHOULD BE ASHAIMED OF YOURSELF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I KNOW HIM HE IS MY BEST FRIEND!!!!!!!!!!!!! there is a saying that says "if you have nothing nice to say don't say any thing at all." the bible says that you should love your enemies, so i do not hate you or anything but you know this is wrong.
p.s i go to church with eric he is not a foo,l and i am only 12 and a creationist.
It's funny how a man with absolutely no credibility like this, can demolish evolution at every turn. It must only be those theories with some sort of evidence that can holdup to such a moron.
I tracked down that Hovind quote which I was a little surprised at, because the last I heard his claim was, "you can't fuse past iron", (meaning he at some point learned that the first 26 elements are fused within stars, and has since been forced to concede that it is not "scientifically impossible" at all).
So before we get to the answer, explain to me whether Hovind was incorrect then, or is incorrect now.
I dont think you are understanding chemistry , Kent is right when he siad you cant fuse past iron, since it takes more energy to create an element heavier then it realeses, any chemicla past iron would be unstable, meaning to say the where did the other elements come from if a fusion of elements could only create up to Iron. So both of his comments are accurate, you just precieved them wrong
@Drewjson So I also "perceived" your above comment wrong? The one that says fusing Hydrogen and Helium is "scientifically impossible"?
Strange that you and Kent Hovind said the same thing, in pretty much the same way, that could be misconstrued in precisely the same manner. I wish you'd both be less careless in your language lest someone accuse you or retconning your own arguments when they are pwnt.
You'd think Kent Hovind "PhD" would at least make accurate statements in relation to science.
But even assuming that's what you originally meant, you're still incorrect.
I suggest you improve your own "understanding of chemistry" starting with the term, "stable element". You'll find there are a great many stable elements above Fe, one of the hardest to ignore being Ni-62. Hell, common sense should tell you that Gold(197) isn't going anywhere anytime soon.
What you suggest is like saying it's "scientifically impossible" to have an endothermic reaction because it requires external heat.
@IRONMANAustralia forgive me for my spelling error, but i speak three different language and English is my second language, German is my first and Russion next. Any way, i see you believe strongly on your topic and i do believe its sad that we are not two different, except i believe in A God, and you believe in Nothing. Either way we are fighting for what we believe in
@Drewjson When has an atheist ever said that he or she believes in nothing?? Just because we don't believe in a God does not mean that we believe in nothing.
Actually, iron is the threshold whereby a fusion reaction emits more energy than it takes. after iron it just takes more energy to fuse 2 nuclei than the reaction produces. Im pretty sure a star in supernova has enough energy to manage it. considering scientists have fused nuclei together to produce isotopes heavier than iron I'd say that maybe you and mr.hovind have misunderstood the physics.
@Drewjson I only have 500 characters at a time, so if you're truly interested, tell me what you think is Hovind's best argument and we'll see how it holds up.
Also most of his statements aren't even consistent with basic logic. In other words, they can be demonstrated to be invalid before you even start talking about science.
I feel really sorry for those students who studied "science" (sic) under Kent Hovind, especially if any of them decide to follow a career in non-Biblical scientific research. What a huge disadvantage to young people having Hovind as their "science" teacher.
@CarajilloDulce I like your "Non biblical" scientific research caveat ! As in "Scientific research". There is only one kind , which Kenty might study one day , if he repents his wicked ways and turns to the light. Noah`s ark my amoral pointless Darwinian ass! What a tit.
@ilikezappa Indeed, and may I say that I too like Zappa. I do feel genuinely sorry for Hovind's students should they wish to enter into any field of serious scientific research. It's not a case of whether they believe in a God or not; that's up to them, but Intelligent Design (which is probably what they studied under Hovind) is religion and should be studied as such since it is based upon religious scripture and not upon scientific principals of investigation, observation, & experimentation.
@CarajilloDulce no shit ! is he allowed to abuse children with his awful claptrap ? How can he claim to have taught high school science when A; he is a nutter and B he has no qualifications ?
Does America really have such poor standards ? Standby for Belgium to overtake you in scientific achievement.
PS yes , you may say that you too like Zappa. 10 points on your file for musical discernment
@ilikezappa America is a big country and there are plenty of intelligent aware people there. Unfortunately there are also some extreme weirdos running around in the woods. Have you seen the documentary "Jesus Camp". It's a very well made documentary but extremely disturbing, and is evidence of the type of child abuse that is sanctioned by quasi-religious lunatics. It makes Hovind look like a circus clown by comparison.
@CarajilloDulce FOR THE RECORD I know that . I lived there for 4 years and loved the place to bits , especially Taos County New Mexico and downeast Maine. I met some great people , played some good music and every time I see a picture of someone riding a horse out west I can`t think of anything I would rather do. SO , dont get me wrong about your fabulous country. I just think Kent Hovind is a tit
@ilikezappa Hovind got to be a high school science teacher by setting up the school himself, and giving himself the post of science teacher. He had no qualifications at this time - this was BEFORE he bought his pretend doctorate from Patriot Bible College.
@blackaboe Threatening me with Hell is like saying I you owe you $5000, then when I reject your claim due to lack of valid justification, you threaten me with gaol.
How about you provide evidence of this debt, or I'll see you in court schmuck.
But y'all are already enjoying my supposed future punishment right now in your own mind aren't you? It doesn't have to be real, or ever actually happen, for you to delude yourself into feeling vindicated now, because you 'know' that "I'll be sorry".
@IRONMANAustralia NO threat, just something to think about, You Don't have to go But I think You probably Will. Kent Hovind doesn't want you to go there either and You Don't have too. But You probably will choose to go there even though Jesus Christ provided you a way out, But you'll probably choose to go There like the majority of the human race as The Bible clearly states. > "broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat" - Mathew 7:13b
@IRONMANAustralia Uhh Huh, And YOU of course are trusting by Faith that your Science-falsely-so-called / Evolution is true, as in nothing made everything. Right? > I think I'll just trust continue to trust The Bible.
@blackaboe You said "I think I'll just trust continue to trust The Bible.".
You man the same book that describes talking donkeys and snakes, unicorns, walking on water, turning water into wine, living in the belly of a whale for three days, a woman turning into a pile of salt, blowing trumpets to knock down walls, Tower of Babel, Noah's Ark.....not to mention condoning slavery, rape, torture, genocide, etc., etc....
Yes, good plan, continue to trust in the Bible....
@blackaboe Kent Hovind used religion to steal hundreds of thousands of dollars. That's why he's in Federal Prison right now. "Thou shalt not steal." I guess he forgot about that part. lol
But at best he's a dumbass who thinks asserting religious conviction somehow makes him legally bullet-proof from government/IRS bullshit, and the part in the Bible he did forget was "render unto Caesar".
go eat a dick u prick dont mean hovind fucked u guys over in proving evolution is a religion doesnt make him stupid... and the prince of fools is you actually ure the king of homosexual cocksuckers u prick...
I'd call Hovind the Prince of Education - because what he has researched & taught IS indeed supported by good unperverted Science.
Just like people may have easily called C. H. Spurgeon the Prince of Preachers back in the 1880s, but I know why they don't give credit like that to Hovind: people have been brought up with way too much brainwashing, manipulation, a& child abuse to determine ANYTHING right.
@Eye2EyeIIIV : Yes, there is a lot of liberal brainwashing. However, the Bible, World Magazine, Israeltoday Magazine, CBN news, Creation magazine, Kent Hovind, Ken Ham, Creation Science Evangalism, AnswersinGenesis, Creation vs. Evolution, Louie Giglio and Chick tracts are religious brainwashing at a 3rd grader's intellectual. It certainly isn't "knowledge & understanding".... quite the contrary ! For real knowledge & understanding, try thinking out of the box and not believing ANYONE on faith.
Love the music; I was thinking, "Hang on... I know that from somewhere..." That it's an odd version and takes a few seconds to place works brilliantly. It's double brilliant as a dis at Hovind.
Look up the fluoride thing, though; it's got nothing to do with Creationist stupidity.
@IRONMANAustralia flouride isnt good for you it is banned in the UK because it rots your teeth and brain
@AkiTHEPirate May I recommend you get a real education beside the school of brainwashed fools, let me guess you bleive you came from an ape the is a real fairy tale !!!
And does "banning fluoride" mean you take the naturally occurring fluoride OUT of your drinking water, or do you just leave it in and let it "rot your teeth and brains"?
Also, what do you do about all the fluoride in the ocean? Not to mention soil and vegetation.
@IRONMANAustralia: No, flouride is NOT banned in the UK. My mother bought a bottle of flouride mouthwash only yesterday. Ch8878 is apparently a Creationist, so... yeah...
Nevertheless, flouride IS bad for you. Seriously; there's no evidence that it helps dental health, and plenty that it kills brain cells. Trace amounts of natural flouride are not comparable to the quantities found in toothpaste, mouthwash and added to some local water supplies. It's bad shit, man.
@IRONMANAustralia Hey I agree that Kent Hovind is a douche. However do you feel that your response to the guy about Fluoride was a bit...deceptive considering we cannot drink the water from the ocean, soil or vegetation?
@ch8878 What, is it banned there? I have wondered for so long why most english people seem to have yellow or even brown teeth. I thought maybe it was because of excessive tea-drinking or something, but if they don't even have proper tooth-paste there it all becomes a lot easier to understand. Hehe:)
Keep drinking the Fluoride you moron Ken proves evolution is grabage, evolution is the biggest fairy tale there is and a fairy like you believes it !!
You make fun of people who state the facts and believe fairy tales get a hobby !!!
@ch8878: STFU. Dude, conflating flouride with atheism is... calling it BS doesn't cover it. Look, thousands of people will read your post and think "fundie fucktard Creationists think flouride is bad; lol, idiots! Where's my toothpaste?"
The two (flouride and Creationism) do not go together. Yes, fluoride is bad for you and you're right to tell people so, but Creationism is DUMB, and you conflating the two issues makes ME look like a moron for agreeing with you about flouride. So please, STFU.
When you refer to 'facts' wud this include stories about an invisible carpenter-superhero, a talking snake, a talking donkey, (Rev 4) flying beasts w/ 6 wings covered in eyes that fly around day & night (in heaven where there would not be a sun...) saying: "holy-holy-holy" over & over for all eternity while 21 guys throw their crowns in front of your sky-daddy who sits on a white throne...
You went through so much time stating your opinion and isnt this funny because you are making fun of him for doing the same thing... All those remarks were made because he has prove, physical prove and you dont. All you have is ideas. The bible has been proven to be afact by many scientists, look it up kid. hope you change your mind soon.
Cat got your tongue? If not, then why haven't you provided your physical "prove" that's proven to be "afact"? What is the proof you are talking about? I don't see anyone running to present it to anyone else, sooooo, if you could provide us with the evidence that you seem to think is in abundance, then that would me much appreciated. Until you're able to do that, we are just going to have to keep eating our babies!
@maxhiner699 Actually in the Bible, it does say the wringing of the nose shall bring forth blood. And it has been proven that if you wring someone's nose, that blood will come out of it. XD
"Actually in the Bible, it does say the wringing of the nose shall bring forth blood. And it has been proven that if you wring someone's nose, that blood will come out of it. XD".
Lol, and unfortunately, that's the only biblical statement i've seen that actually contains truth to it. Christians need to grow up and get a brain.
"Doctor" Hovind? What a joke. Hovind's "PhD", as well as his "Master's Degree" came from Patriot University. Google "Patriot University", and see the Wiki article. There is a discussion there about Hovind's degree, too. As you can see in this vid, Patriot U. is a trailer out in the sagebrush. No teachers, no classes, just a photocopier and a cashier. Hovind the scientist. Oh, hahahahaha!!!!
Kent is the embodiment of the GOP, with many of the GOP leaders making the exact same claims as Hovind, and having the same credibility as Kents holier than thou Patriot (terrorist) University. This is what the US version of the Taliban looks like, and it will inevitably end up with same results. When Hovind is released I am sure he will get his own show on FOX News and make Glenn Beck look sane.
Kent Hovind is not AT ALL the like the propagated, mean, ignorant, fake, violent, cussing, swearing, axe-wielding, dumb Christians that are presented in Hollywood films that you watch all the time so keep your yap shut, and quit pointing fingers.
I don't know you guys at all, but I bet you dislike Kent Hovind typically because you KNOW that all the reasonable evidence (which has NO FLAW, as I have avidly researched it) he's presented all boils down to SOME message that questions this philosophy you use to support this egotistical attitude & desired lifestyle of yours, not your "science". (I don't care if it's cussing, pornography, alcohol, premarital sex, etc.)
Ha. This argument always cracks me up, because I'm the most straight-laced guy I know.
I don't smoke, and rarely drink, I never had any desire to deal with people dishonestly, and heterosexual monogamy is as natural as breathing in and out to me.
Hell, even my favourite flavour of ice cream is vanilla.
In short: I'm the kind of person by nature that you guys can only wish Ted Haggard was.
I'd make a great Christian. Only problem is that God doesn't seem to exist.
@Eye2EyeIIIV This argument simply makes no sense to me either, but for other reasons, one of which being Hovind's attempts to rationalize the supernatural stories of the Bible through science.If the pseudo-science used to prove his creationist theories was correct, he would then be tasked with proving how: a snake or donkey could talk sans-vocal chords, a bush could speak, and a man could survive in a whale for three days. He attempts to have his cake and eat it too, but chokes on common-sense.
Just because what Hovind is talking about is barely known about in public doesn't mean he's WRONG. He may at least know something a lot of us dumb folks don't know—amazing facts & Creation evidence is willingly hidden from the public
It's like North Korea—their television system NEVER shows the public about the poor people, so they think there ARE NO poor people!
Concerning truth getting out to the public, it's suppressed in a more communist/socialistic way these days.
You guys always dub people like Kent Hovind & Ken Ham like this: creation "scientist". The truth is, we all have the same facts, but we interpret them differently. According to you, a "scientist" is a person who teaches you evolution [there is no God] as fact, & you use that theory to support your committed lifestyle. So, these guys are NOT presenting evolution but Creation instead, & you don't like it, so you think they're not scientists. ......That...is absolutely silly logic to cling to.
On the contrary, people like Hovind are presented with the facts but choose not to use them (or take things out of context, spreading mis-information to brainwash the masses)
A scientist is one whom searches for explanations for occurrences in the natural world, and promotes the truth in their findings regardless of their personal beliefs.
Hovind and his kind have either been A) indoctrinated to ignore logic B) are too insecure to adjust their world views to fit with science. C) just dumb.
Furthermore Evolution does not teach there is no God.
That is the jurisdiction of philosophy not of the natural world.
Religion is where the different interpretations come into play.
To say that Evolution is a godless religion promoting immorality is wrong, and ignorant
In my eyes Hovind is simply another criminal in jail where he belongs. Though I could be wrong, he may have simply been brainwashed as a kid into thinking illogically
Thats not my experience at all with evolutionists. 90% of them say dogmatically that there is no God and its a fact, we now know etc.
And scientists have been found lying and making up evidence all over the place. There is no system to control their findings when it comes to evolution, because you cant test it in a lab. The conclusions can be 100% wrong and no-one would be the wiser. Disproven theories can stay in circulation for years.
@shlukh You can test evolution in a lab and we have, look it up before you start spouting random lies.Scientists have taken two groups of fruit flies and put them in different environments with different food which caused them to spieciate.That's called evolution by natural selection.
@G11EM2 Farmers have also put aside seeds of bigger fruit for next season and bred crops yelding more mass. But there is a limit to it. The fruits go bigger fast and then they hit the roof. Indicating that the information was already there. After that you dont see the billions of fruit mutate anywhere. I call that variation inside diff kinds. Humans are also all different. Those flies also have information for variation, put there by God Almighty, Lord of all things. The Alfa and the Omega.
@shlukh There is no roof, there is only a limit of how fast because of generation lengths. I would keep going but I'd start getting angry, Christians have been pissing me off a lot today and I don't want to take it out on you.
@Leehofooks I was talking about my experience. I havent written a paper on it. So it is unofficial. I still hope you consider it a little bit, thanks.
@shlukh Your anecdotal "evidence" doesn't mean anything. I could just as easily declare that "in my experience" 90% of creationists have cognitive learning disorders.
@Leehofooks You can indeed. And that would make you look stupid. But go ahead. Its you comment that doesnt mean anything. Most useless 2 comments ever.
@shlukh You're not too bright, are you? I did exactly what you did. If my argument is silly and idiotic, then so is yours. That was my point. How is it that you can't understand that? Oh yeah... you're a creationist.
I feel that you are right, that science never implies that there is no God or gods (since that is a philosophical argument). Two biggest issues are that most Christians are taught that it is either God without evolution or evolution without God and there are atheist (such as Richard Dawkins and Sam Harris) that think it is impossible to be a good scientist and religious (I have read their attacks against Dr. Francis Collins).
Very weak video. You really dont have anything funny to say at all. You should learn from Kent. He makes me laugh with his jokes and of course, evolution theory! Its hilarious.
Thats a typical evolutionist statement. You say that i know nothing about biology or evolution theory. How can you know that? You just jumped to a conclusion, and im affraid so did many people who believe in evolution theory. Making many claims of absolute certainty. All scientists accept evolution! or everybody knows evolution is true! and then, only fools dont get it! I was an atheist for 29 y. until God straightened me out. Its dangerous to think you know it all is what i say.
"You say that i know nothing about biology or evolution theory. How can you know that?"
Uh... Because of this...?
"You should learn from Kent."
Anyone who tells someone else to learn from Kent, who spouts misinformation and twisting words around doesn't know about evolution or biology. Educated people can point out EVERY single flaw in kents arguments. Hell, I don't even have a biology degree nor taken a class in it and even I know that what he says is BS.
Most of the people who debate Hovind somehow cant point out the flaws in his logic at all. They usually lost the debate. How can this be? Thats because in the mind of an evolutionist the conclusions are already in place. that way you are always right and nothing can be added to it.
Just because he doesn't acknowledge them as flaws and ignores what they say doesn't mean that those flaws are not mentioned. For example - The biblical flood - It is IMPOSSIBLE for a flood to happen. Why? Because our atmosphere does not have enough H20 plus a boat cannot fit 2 of every single creature on it. They would eat each other and the boat would end up sinking. Plus the amount of wood involved would be astronomical.
Can you tell me of a place on earth where massive amounts of fossils are forming right now? Yet the earth has massive amounts of fossils. A flood could bury animals and fossilise them. There have been fossils of fish found at mount everest, the highest place on earth has been under water.
Noah didnt need to take bugs on the arc since they dont breathe through their nostrils as God said. You can also take only baby animals of all kinds. they dont attack each other and take less space.
Shlukh, no one disputes that flooding HAS happened in certain area's. Just because it floods in Florida does not mean it is flooding in China.
Fossils on mt everest only prove that continental drift is true. When two land masses collide, it creates an upheaval over a very long time. This upheaval raises the land mass.
Why do you Creationists jump to the most ludicrous conclusions? As it has once been said, "Keep it simple, stupid."
Take a look at the "Critical Analysis of Kent Hovind" dinosaur videos. There are plenty of species of insects who would have died off in inclement weather, and Kent's explanation of the boat withstanding the storm doesn't hold up when put against the actual schematics of the boat.
I'm not sure why people act as if science poses a threat to spiritual beliefs. For myself and others, the two have coexisted pretty peacefully.
@shlukh if noah didn't take the insects, why are they here? a vast majority of them would have drown, damning us all. better yet, if you really believe the flood story, what did noah and the animals eat after they got off the ark? every plant would have been choked out by the water.
@holdenbane use common sence....insects breath with thier skin, therefore they could have survived....and just know....they can also live on water..perhaps floating objects? and it has been proven for a plant to survie under water for over 40 days...
What's the purpose of cockroaches and mosquitoes and other pests by the way? hahaha..
BTW, how did Noah fit all of the animals that were breathing with their noses including the large whales? And how did Noah traveled by foot to get those animals to survive by just walking on foot? did he levitate? hahaha..
circle of life dummie, its just like saying, why are there rats or cats. Who said Noah took whales with him, any smart person would leave them in the water. Noah did live a couple hundred years, so he had the time he needed.
Well it's a good point well made. Mr Hovind would have you believe that any amount of water spread thinly enough would cover the earth but sadly that's just another deluded factoid that isn't true. The proof of this fact is clear if you want to research it but I'm guessing that either you don't or you can't. Mr Hovind, with respect, you're an idiot.
"Thats because in the mind of an evolutionist the conclusions are already in place. that way you are always right and nothing can be added to it. "
Irony is ironic. Actually science works the exact opposite of what you propose. The evolutionary principle first proposed by Darwin is no longer in use. We now use an updated, more accurate assessment of the situation than previously mentioned by Darwin. Science changes all the time. Your dogma does not and it's better that way. (for you)
BTW - On a show called Infadel Guy, he was explaining that evolution says that we came from a rock. Evolution does not say that at all. He then goes on to explain this from a science book and the science book he read states, "Scientists theorize that the earth began as a hot ball of rock" Kent Hovind then goes on to try to explain that evolution states we came from a rock which is a strawman argument. (not logical) Abiogenesis states we actually came from MOLECULES. Big difference.
But the molecules came from a rock, or did they appear magically? Space dust as some call themselves.
Science is supposed to be unbiased, yes. But most scientists believe that there is no other explanation and start with that assumption. Thats why their research is not accurate anymore. They disregard finds that go against evolution etc.
Did God come from nothing? Or did he magically appear? See, you can't ask us where molecules came from while ignoring that very question on your own idea or notion.
The reason scientists believes there is no other explanation is because your alternative is that some divine entity that can't be tested or observed created everything. The reason they don't take this seriously is because you do not KNOW if it is true or not because you CAN'T test it's validity!
You just admitted that scientists presume, that theres only evolution. And i agree, they are biased and unaccurate because of that.
I dont know where God came from and i doubt many will even try to answer that. Its called faith. Now if youre saying that evolution is also faith and cant be proven, then i agree also. You hit the nail there.
Evolutionists always resort to propaganda and attacking the Bible, rather than simply give proof. because theres no proof, only ideas and theories.
They aren't biased simply because they refuse to accept the possibility as an idea as an equal of which there is absolutely 'no' evidence for. They follow the evidence. JUST BECAUSE evolution HAS all of the evidence doesn't mean that the scientists are to blame.
Evolution isn't faith because evolution HAS evidence for it. Faith is the belief in something 'without' evidence.
"only ideas and theories."
You have no idea what a theory even is. A theory is backed up by thousands of facts.
Philosophical questions of what our purpose is here has nothing to do with evolution. Abiogenesis has nothing to do with evolution. The creation of the universe has nothing to do with evolution. Evolution is simply the change in species over time. It explains the diversity of life.
Then what's the purpose of God by the way? hahaha... who created God? i know he has been created cause he is more complex than us cause he makes magic.. hahaha... then Who creates the creator of god, so on and so forth? It concludes that your logic has an infinite creator.. would that be possible you think? hahaha..
hey u retard, quit being stupid. No one made God. He always was, and always will be. We are stuck in the thought that something had to be created, but outside the bounderies of the universe, who said these rules apply.
Acyualy it's creationists that use the bible and science can refute it with evidence. Evolution provides a tonne of evidence, it'screationists that refuse to look at the evidence honestly. Now br honest and just admit you don't want to look at ral evidence, and you just would rather believe in god.
How do they "disregard" finds? From what I've seen, they study these finds and, more often than not, they end up being falsified. To disregard them implies that claims like Hovind's are never taken into account or even rebutted with more credible research. But, time and again, scientists who have observed Hovind take the time to address dozens of "finds" that go against evolution.
The find that there are almost no transitional fossils found, when more then 90% should be. Its a kind of a find that blows the lid off the evolution idea.
And how would you describe the appearance of matter at the beginning. Its necessary for evolution to start. First there was nothing, then...?
@shlukh you can provide me with ANY kent hovind creation 'science' seminar or debate and i will be able to debunk it with common sense. go ahead, try me.
The only idiots that are posting negative comments are those good for nothing atheists. Go out and find something else to do besides negatively post on a video of a guy that would put you on check if you ever debated him. Go climb a tree or something. I rather believe that people came out of dog poop because first of all, evolution was never been proven. Everything was formed from nothing exploding, WOW! Even a 3 year old would laugh at you if you told them that nonsense.
@silvernikes lol i would verbally shit down kent's throat if he ever tried to have a debate with me. nothing that comes out of his mouth makes any sense at all and he has the reasoning skills of a 5 year old. evolution has been proven 1,000 times over. maybe you should quit taking medicine since it's a result of all those 'crazy evolutionists' and their 'nonsense'. trust me, we'd all be better off.
Can someone tell me how the video creator *watched* the trial of Kent Hovind? Is there a video of it somewhere? I asked this before but nobody responded.

Bullshit on all counts. You can disagree with or make fun of shit when you don't afraid of anything.

Kent is learning the HARD way that it ain't so great being HOLY in prison
Barkeroni 9 months ago
Explain to me how Hydrogen and Helium Fused to make the other elements when scientificly it is impossible.
Drewjson 9 months ago
I tracked down that Hovind quote which I was a little surprised at, because the last I heard his claim was, "you can't fuse past iron", (meaning he at some point learned that the first 26 elements are fused within stars, and has since been forced to concede that it is not "scientifically impossible" at all).
So before we get to the answer, explain to me whether Hovind was incorrect then, or is incorrect now.
IRONMANAustralia 9 months ago 2
I dont think you are understanding chemistry , Kent is right when he siad you cant fuse past iron, since it takes more energy to create an element heavier then it realeses, any chemicla past iron would be unstable, meaning to say the where did the other elements come from if a fusion of elements could only create up to Iron. So both of his comments are accurate, you just precieved them wrong
Drewjson 9 months ago
@Drewjson So I also "perceived" your above comment wrong? The one that says fusing Hydrogen and Helium is "scientifically impossible"?
Strange that you and Kent Hovind said the same thing, in pretty much the same way, that could be misconstrued in precisely the same manner. I wish you'd both be less careless in your language lest someone accuse you or retconning your own arguments when they are pwnt.
You'd think Kent Hovind "PhD" would at least make accurate statements in relation to science.
IRONMANAustralia 9 months ago 3
But even assuming that's what you originally meant, you're still incorrect.
I suggest you improve your own "understanding of chemistry" starting with the term, "stable element". You'll find there are a great many stable elements above Fe, one of the hardest to ignore being Ni-62. Hell, common sense should tell you that Gold(197) isn't going anywhere anytime soon.
What you suggest is like saying it's "scientifically impossible" to have an endothermic reaction because it requires external heat.
IRONMANAustralia 9 months ago 2
@IRONMANAustralia forgive me for my spelling error, but i speak three different language and English is my second language, German is my first and Russion next. Any way, i see you believe strongly on your topic and i do believe its sad that we are not two different, except i believe in A God, and you believe in Nothing. Either way we are fighting for what we believe in
Drewjson 9 months ago
@Drewjson When has an atheist ever said that he or she believes in nothing?? Just because we don't believe in a God does not mean that we believe in nothing.

@Drewjson I am a physicist and i can explain it all too you if you really wish. Oh, don't worry about it, go listen to Ken and Eric!
garethb1961 2 months ago
@Drewjson

What a tit.
ilikezappa 10 months ago
@ilikezappa Indeed, and may I say that I too like Zappa. I do feel genuinely sorry for Hovind's students should they wish to enter into any field of serious scientific research. It's not a case of whether they believe in a God or not; that's up to them, but Intelligent Design (which is probably what they studied under Hovind) is religion and should be studied as such since it is based upon religious scripture and not upon scientific principals of investigation, observation, & experimentation.
CarajilloDulce 10 months ago
@CarajilloDulce no shit ! is he allowed to abuse children with his awful claptrap ? How can he claim to have taught high school science when A; he is a nutter and B he has no qualifications ?

SO , dont get me wrong about your fabulous country. I just think Kent Hovind is a tit

Well that explains a lot.
And does "banning fluoride" mean you take the naturally occurring fluoride OUT of your drinking water, or do you just leave it in and let it "rot your teeth and brains"?
Also, what do you do about all the fluoride in the ocean? Not to mention soil and vegetation.

Eye2EyeIIIV 1 year ago

I'd make a great Christian. Only problem is that God doesn't seem to exist.
IRONMANAustralia 1 year ago
@Eye2EyeIIIV This argument simply makes no sense to me either, but for other reasons, one of which being Hovind's attempts to rationalize the supernatural stories of the Bible through science.If the pseudo-science used to prove his creationist theories was correct, he would then be tasked with proving how: a snake or donkey could talk sans-vocal chords, a bush could speak, and a man could survive in a whale for three days. He attempts to have his cake and eat it too, but chokes on common-sense.
yermomsboxx 1 year ago
Just because what Hovind is talking about is barely known about in public doesn't mean he's WRONG. He may at least know something a lot of us dumb folks don't know—amazing facts & Creation evidence is willingly hidden from the public
It's like North Korea—their television system NEVER shows the public about the poor people, so they think there ARE NO poor people!
Concerning truth getting out to the public, it's suppressed in a more communist/socialistic way these days.
Eye2EyeIIIV 1 year ago
You guys always dub people like Kent Hovind & Ken Ham like this: creation "scientist". The truth is, we all have the same facts, but we interpret them differently. According to you, a "scientist" is a person who teaches you evolution [there is no God] as fact, & you use that theory to support your committed lifestyle. So, these guys are NOT presenting evolution but Creation instead, & you don't like it, so you think they're not scientists. ......That...is absolutely silly logic to cling to.
Eye2EyeIIIV 1 year ago
On the contrary, people like Hovind are presented with the facts but choose not to use them (or take things out of context, spreading mis-information to brainwash the masses)
A scientist is one whom searches for explanations for occurrences in the natural world, and promotes the truth in their findings regardless of their personal beliefs.
Hovind and his kind have either been A) indoctrinated to ignore logic B) are too insecure to adjust their world views to fit with science. C) just dumb.
Theudas001 1 year ago
Furthermore Evolution does not teach there is no God.
That is the jurisdiction of philosophy not of the natural world.
Religion is where the different interpretations come into play.
To say that Evolution is a godless religion promoting immorality is wrong, and ignorant
In my eyes Hovind is simply another criminal in jail where he belongs. Though I could be wrong, he may have simply been brainwashed as a kid into thinking illogically
Theudas001 1 year ago
@Theudas001
"Evolution does not teach there is no God. "

Most of the people who debate Hovind somehow cant point out the flaws in his logic at all. They usually lost the debate. How can this be? Thats because in the mind of an evolutionist the conclusions are already in place. that way you are always right and nothing can be added to it.
shlukh 1 year ago
@shlukh

@verzen
You can also take only baby animals of all kinds. they dont attack each other and take less space.
shlukh 1 year ago
@shlukh

For myself and others, the two have coexisted pretty peacefully.
bnostoppingme 1 year ago
@shlukh if noah didn't take the insects, why are they here? a vast majority of them would have drown, damning us all. better yet, if you really believe the flood story, what did noah and the animals eat after they got off the ark? every plant would have been choked out by the water.
holdenbane 1 year ago
@holdenbane use common sence....insects breath with thier skin, therefore they could have survived....and just know....they can also live on water..perhaps floating objects? and it has been proven for a plant to survie under water for over 40 days...

@silvernikes
What's the purpose of cockroaches and mosquitoes and other pests by the way? hahaha..
BTW, how did Noah fit all of the animals that were breathing with their noses including the large whales? And how did Noah traveled by foot to get those animals to survive by just walking on foot? did he levitate? hahaha..
eurythorpe 1 year ago
circle of life dummie, its just like saying, why are there rats or cats. Who said Noah took whales with him, any smart person would leave them in the water. Noah did live a couple hundred years, so he had the time he needed.
silvernikes 1 year ago

(for you)
verzen 1 year ago
@shlukh
Big difference.
verzen 1 year ago
@verzen
But the molecules came from a rock, or did they appear magically? Space dust as some call themselves.
Science is supposed to be unbiased, yes. But most scientists believe that there is no other explanation and start with that assumption. Thats why their research is not accurate anymore. They disregard finds that go against evolution etc.
shlukh 1 year ago
@shlukh
Did God come from nothing? Or did he magically appear? See, you can't ask us where molecules came from while ignoring that very question on your own idea or notion.
The reason scientists believes there is no other explanation is because your alternative is that some divine entity that can't be tested or observed created everything. The reason they don't take this seriously is because you do not KNOW if it is true or not because you CAN'T test it's validity!
verzen 1 year ago
@verzen
Evolutionists always resort to propaganda and attacking the Bible, rather than simply give proof. because theres no proof, only ideas and theories.
shlukh 1 year ago
@shlukh
A theory is backed up by thousands of facts.
verzen 1 year ago
@verzen evolution has not evidence...and if it does..just answer how we got here, and if u answer that...what is our purpose here?
silvernikes 1 year ago
@silvernikes
Philosophical questions of what our purpose is here has nothing to do with evolution. Abiogenesis has nothing to do with evolution. The creation of the universe has nothing to do with evolution. Evolution is simply the change in species over time. It explains the diversity of life.
verzen 1 year ago
@silvernikes
Then what's the purpose of God by the way? hahaha... who created God? i know he has been created cause he is more complex than us cause he makes magic.. hahaha... then Who creates the creator of god, so on and so forth? It concludes that your logic has an infinite creator.. would that be possible you think? hahaha..
eurythorpe 1 year ago
hey u retard, quit being stupid. No one made God. He always was, and always will be. We are stuck in the thought that something had to be created, but outside the bounderies of the universe, who said these rules apply.
silvernikes 1 year ago
@silvernikes man created god in man's own image. think about it!!!!
lesouder2222 1 year ago
Acyualy it's creationists that use the bible and science can refute it with evidence. Evolution provides a tonne of evidence, it'screationists that refuse to look at the evidence honestly. Now br honest and just admit you don't want to look at ral evidence, and you just would rather believe in god.
cujomade101 1 year ago
Ok tell me 1 evidence that is older than 50 years. Give me the reference to the study also, so i can take an honest look. thanks.
shlukh 1 year ago
@shlukh. Watch thunderfoots videos or aaronra. They are by far the best sources on evolution on youtube.
cujomade101 1 year ago
@shlukh
Wait wait wait... not accurate any more? So all of the cures they used with the knowledge of evolution aren't accurate cures?
What do you call e-coli experiments with nylon? Nylon is synthetic.. not digestable.. Yet the e-coli created a mutation to digest the nylon.
This is how evolution works.
verzen 1 year ago
How do they "disregard" finds? From what I've seen, they study these finds and, more often than not, they end up being falsified. To disregard them implies that claims like Hovind's are never taken into account or even rebutted with more credible research. But, time and again, scientists who have observed Hovind take the time to address dozens of "finds" that go against evolution.
bnostoppingme 1 year ago
@shlukh name one find that goes against evolution.
holdenbane 1 year ago
@holdenabne
The find that there are almost no transitional fossils found, when more then 90% should be. Its a kind of a find that blows the lid off the evolution idea.
And how would you describe the appearance of matter at the beginning. Its necessary for evolution to start. First there was nothing, then...?
shlukh 1 year ago
"Most of the people who debate Hovind somehow cant point out the flaws in his logic at all."
-ad hominem attacks
-appeal to ignorance (the pseudo-science with which he surrounds his theories appeals to people who don't know the branches of science he critiques)
-Pious Fraud ("you work for the enemy," see the end of his Hugh Ross debate)
"The conclusions are already in place?" Can't that be said of Hovind, who argues more from personal and religious beliefs more than research?
bnostoppingme 1 year ago
@shlukh you can provide me with ANY kent hovind creation 'science' seminar or debate and i will be able to debunk it with common sense. go ahead, try me.

The only idiots that are posting negative comments are those good for nothing atheists. Go out and find something else to do besides negatively post on a video of a guy that would put you on check if you ever debated him. Go climb a tree or something. I rather believe that people came out of dog poop because first of all, evolution was never been proven. Everything was formed from nothing exploding, WOW! Even a 3 year old would laugh at you if you told them that nonsense.
silvernikes 2 years ago
@silvernikes lol i would verbally shit down kent's throat if he ever tried to have a debate with me. nothing that comes out of his mouth makes any sense at all and he has the reasoning skills of a 5 year old. evolution has been proven 1,000 times over. maybe you should quit taking medicine since it's a result of all those 'crazy evolutionists' and their 'nonsense'. trust me, we'd all be better off.
