My GP has prescribed it for me; double blind tests have revealed that Oscilloccinium is above placebo!! Other clinical trials-German and French Universities have tested it on hundreds of people and concluded it to be effective in treating the flu symptoms within 48 hours.
In 1989 there was a double blind, placebo-controlled study done on 487 influenza patients who had been referred by 149 different doctors. Over half who were given the homeopathic remedy called oscilloccoccinum recovered from the flu within 48 hours. The Lancet was not only impressed with the results but by how well the study was conducted. The study was published in the British Journal of Clinical Pharmacology in 1989.

Do the research into this "remedy". Just look at Wikipedia's entry on Homeopathy or Oscillococcinum. You'll see that it is just sugar and has no effect. It cannot have an effect because there's no active ingredients in it!
The company that makes this are making a *lot* of money from selling you nothing. Don't be a fool - do the research!

Smells like someone has a financial interest in Oscillo and has many accounts on here purely for the purpose of spreading their propoganda. Well, if you can't debate fairly and logically, then fight nastily. Is that it?
@BibleLovingAutomaton dude im her daughter and im not gonna have some pathetic douche going around thinking that people cant have their own opinion lol. this is my account and i can go on it if i like. you remind me of a child who cant have their own way in life, and when he can't, he bullies people in making them not air their own opinion! lol you ovbiously hasn't seen the light of day for a fair while.
Smells like someone is using Amygdala's screen name, has a financial (or ideological) interest in conventional drugs and is spreading propaganda. Have seen this many times over amongst "skeptics" (aka denialists, aka medical fundamentalists) on more than one forum.
Well, if you can't debate fairly and logically, then fight nastily--looks like you know the ropes.
BTW, Os works.....proven clinically and in studies.
@den151redbank Yes, someone has set up an account recently and are using my name to discredit earlier comments and are spreading lies and propaganda. They have even flagged your comments. Anyway, our government in the UK continues to support the people's choice to seek homeopathy within our National Health Service via our qualified medical doctors.
Spamming out positive comments re homeopathy --- a very childish but common tactic. The fact is that homeopathy is so successful and so safe that it's now the second most used system of medicine in the world today, and it's use grows every year.
There's no such thing as bad publicity. Sales of homeopathics continue to rise and rise after attempts by "skeptics" to discredit it just as sales and use rose after Randi's ridiculous BBC magic show of an experiment.

Medical doctors working and integrating homeopathy into their practice are too busy with their successes to be bothered about homeopathic theories.. They’re just relieved that they have alternatives at hand when the conventional treatments and drugs fail for them-especially where chronic and acute cases are concerned; this is where the biological action of homeopathy works.

It’s great to see more and more Nobel scientist taking an interest in homeopathy and scientists exploring homeopathy on non biological organisms.
This "remedy" is a joke. 200C dilution means to get even 1 molecule of the active ingredient, you'd need a container the size of 10^320 universes. And what good's 1 molecule of duck liver to someone suffering from flu anyway?
@ LAnonHubbard. If I had a financial interest then I wouldn’t need to be treated on the National Health Service; again, my NHS medical doctor prescribes me with homeopathic alternatives to antibiotics, or any other homeopathic remedy, such as Oscillococcinum. From July 26th 2010, our UK Government emphatically backed the people’s right to NHS homeopathy.
@Amygdala100 I agree with hubbard. You're definitely a practitioner or someone with a financial interest. You will comment positively on ANY homeopathic video, no matter what the matter at hand. If your made-up NHS doctor is real, he is irresponsible to be wasting taxpayers money prescribing you placebos.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
@BibleLovingAutomaton Oh, you share the same propaganda and lies with Hubbard. My NHS medical doctor obviously doesn't believe in prescribing and wasting tax payer’s money on placebos either, when there's a serious bacterial infection to deal with. Antibiotics hospitalized me, homeopathy cured me. Placebos are not prescribed to treat cows with mastitis either when the antibiotics fail to work, homeopathy is used by veterinary surgeons, when conventional treatments fail.
@BibleLovingAutomaton I’m not a homeopath, and neither do I spurt off any theory. I respect my NHS medical doctor’s decision to prescribe me with safer alternatives to penicillin. However, it was interesting to learn that 28 June 2010 during the prestigious 60 anniversary conference of Nobel Laureates held in Germany,Professor Luc Montagnier, supports the water memory theory with his latest discovery.
@Amygdala100 Homeopaths are clutching at straws when they quote Luc Montagnier's paper. That paper has been looked at by people who aren't on the homeopathy payroll and it has many problems. It lacks rigour, is just a list of assertions and conjectures. It was published in a journal setup by Luc Montagnier himself. It has NO PEER REVIEW! This paper has no merit or credibility.
No merit or credibility - that's the domain you and your homeopath colleagues dwell in.

@LAnonHubbard Who is a homeopathic practitioner-me? My NHS Cambridge graduated medical doctor was the one who introduced me to homeopathy, since the antibiotic penicillin hospitalized me in a semi-coma state! I receive treatment through his professional decisions; I'm not a homeopathic practitioner, but someone who has benefited from homeopathy, thanks to my NHS GP.
@Amygdala100 I'm glad you're better, but why are you so convinced that the homeopathic remedy had anything to do with it? It's the most implausible explanation. It's likely you have a hidden agenda on promoting homeopathy because of the comments I've seen you leave on YouTube. That's why I thought you might be a practitioner. Maybe you're not, but please come clean on why you are pro-homeopathy to the point of commenting on a wide range of homeopathic related videos. Coment continued...
@Amygdala100 (continued). Your vehemently pro-homeopathy stance evidenced by your comments here and on other YouTube videos, your channel comments, your favourited videos which are all homeopathy biased makes your testimony of being prescribed it by a GP a bit hard to swallow!
Perhaps you have an undiclosed financial interest? I cannot prove this and I cannot disprove your "I just saw my GP" line, but something doesn't add up with you and your comments.

@Amygdala100 The only lies come from the homeopaths. For instance: water memory, stronger dilutions are more effective, etc, etc.
