I thought this stuff was like a lotion, not a liquid. I wanted to put on my weave and just wrap it at night without having to roller set or dry it. Urgh.
thanks, i did it and it worked great! i appreciate ur help! and my hair came out MUCH softer!! lol, i always wondered y it never came out like at the salon!
Bargain Princess I have a question: When I use to use setting lotion in the past my hair would turn out stiff. I want to know for example: If I have a 16oz bottle and pour in 8ounces of water in the bottle then how many once of setting lotion should I pour in? and pretty please respond
Depending how thick or thin your hair is, use 2-3 parts lottabody to 1 part water. As see in the video I like to use the cap as my measurement. It's a lot easier then trying to estimate how much of the product to use when just filling half of the 16oz bottle with water.
if you have normal hair & its not bleached or dyed then use 2 or 3 parts water, depending on how thick your hair is. I normally do a total of 15 cap fulls of water witch equals a total of 5 cap fulls of lotta body- 3x5=15 or if I wanted to do 30 cap fulls of water then that equals 10 cap fulls of lotta body
This is the one of VERY few products I still use even though my hair is all natural now. LOVED it when I was relaxed 6.5 years ago, and still LOVE it. From my personal experience, it works well for me and my hair is really thick. I agree with diluting it because you don't want to make your hair stiff. I ONLY use it on freshly shampooed hair when I do use it.
I think it's better to say..."transitioning to healthier hair" because LOTTABODY has plenty of chemicals in it and so do many products women use in their videos that claim to be regaining their freedom from chemicals. Nobody can ever be totally free of chemicals and no product on a shelf can be completely natural! Chemicals are in our foods, clothes, etc. I think chemicals in perms are the last thing killing African Americans. African Americans need to strive to be healthy in all aspects!

I don't understand the diluting part! How do you measure it? Sorry it's really complicated for me. I can't measure at all! =)
