I'm looking for a song by the Moments that i've only heard on a cd of momets medly's....The song is named "Come away with me". Does anyone have it?? If so, can you post it i would love to hear it again and maybe get a copy i used to have the cd but someone stole it of course...
@lastpanther01 why does that seem to happen? why cant they buy their own someone stole my best of the delfonics and it was one with all of the greats not just the ones u hear all the time it was a classic
Hey fellas, Im trying to get a hold of a song called "Seven days". I was wondering what album it was on. Can any fan of the Moments help me out. Thanx.
To say Harry, Billy and Al were a tremendous-ly talented trio is an understatement (alright yeah I am prejudiced - and what). That being said, I have a DVD with Al Goodman discussing their early career and backgrounds. I get the feeling that their contract with Polydor was a good thing for them financially. And a good thing for us. It makes me wonder however, after seeing that intereview, how much of their music haven't we heard. I'm just saying. . .
This was also recorded by Shirley & Co on the Shame Shame Shame LP. Exact same backing track. I think these guys may have produced the track. I've found a number of songs they put out during the mid to late 70s were also covered by other artists on the Stang and All Platinum labels using the same instrumental tracks.
Oh, I forgot to mentioned that this song was from the LP "Look At Me" on the Stang label back in 1975. It has the title song and "Girls" featuring the Whatnauts. The song was later released on the LP "Sharp" which was released in the UK on the Philips label. My mistake.
This song was from the LP "Sharp" and it was their last album on the Stang label under the name The Moments. They left the Stang label after 10 years of being on that label, Stang went off with a bang. They went to Polydor the next year and released their LP under the name "Ray, Goodman & Brown" featuring their big hit "Special Lady".
This goes hard! Right on for the post!
