Hi!

(1) Can you add better statistics so that you can look at cards you missed in another deck?

(2) Also, there is a lot of space between the sentences when you type them in the computer, is there a way to fix this?

Hey Joe, LOVE this application. However i have some suggestions for next update.

1. Deck mastery doesn't work for me. Sometimes it counts up to 4 times before i go through the deck once.

2. Ability to make a "practice deck" where you can take cards from all your decks and one touch flag them to be copy to the practice deck.

3. Add another Deck order option that allows you to go through the entire deck without repeats but it randomly shuffles the cards order.

Is there a way to get the images I upload in my own decks to be fullscreen? The images I upload no matter how big they are end up being about 2/3'rds of the screen-size.

It forces me to have to zoom in every time i'm looking at the details of the image such as an organic mechanism.

For some reason some of the decks shared by others have large fullscreen images, while some seem to have the same problem as me.

Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi Joe,

I am new to this program and haven't been able to figure this out through trial and error. How do you insert a new card into the middle of your deck? and how do you re-arrange your deck order? Some times I forget a flash card and would like it in a certain place in the deck, but all I can do is add it to the end.

Hope there is a simple way I am not seeing. Hope you or anyone else can help.

My account seems to have been hijacked. Random decks with Japanese lessons are regularly appearing in my download section. Is it possible to set it up again so that I am the only person able to access my account? I tried changing the password but it is still happening......

I love this app but I just burned a couple of hours doing trial and error trying to figure out how to make my first deck. The editing screen may have looked and worked like this once but not anymore. A new video needs to be made! (I finally got it and it worked fine once I did but a more up to date vid would have saved a couple of hours out of my life I'd have liked to spend studying.

I don't know if I'm alone on this or not but it would be AWESOME if there was a back button while viewing flashcards on the iphone. Also a feature allowing you to view a list of cards in order to quickly find one you are looking for would be very helpful.

Another question. I would make multiple sets of cards for an exam and it really takes up alot of room on the list. Is there a way to save certain sets of cards to a folder so it'll be more simple to scroll through a list?

New lines are tricky. You need to use quotes: "like

this"

Note that if you have quotes inside the line with line breaks, things get tricky... I recommend you use single quotes for those instead: '

Maybe I'm just stupid but I can't get it to work and I been trying for hours.

Here's what I'm trying to make: on one card, I want a front, then on the back, like one line of X, then on the line below, another line of Y.

I did what you said (and on the tutorial) but I can't get it.

CSV format is a bit tricky. The quotes should be around the whole "side". So for example, you'd want something like:

Hi Joe - I just started using iFlipr after having Study Aid crash on my iPhone. The one thing that I find confusing is how to add a card to a deck I have already created. Doesn't seem as intuitive as it could be. For instance, when I open a Deck, it seems like there should be a simple link to "Add" a card. Thanks for any help, and you may want to consider how new folks can navigate very simply. (I was just looking at how idiot-proof SurveyMonkey is.)

I was just thinking about recommending this app to my girlfriend when I got the same message as mentioned below "sorry something went wrong"... how often does this happen? This app needs to stand alone from the website... because this CANNOT happen when time is critical. Not cool.

You're right, this has happened too many times. Every now and then the logs fill up the hard disk... I'll put in a monitoring script to delete them periodically. Also, the update I'm working on has offline editing. Sorry for the trouble, in any case, and thanks for bringing it to my attention.

iFlipr is pretty cool (Internet and iPhone-Version too), but I miss a real Leitner-System-Algorithm just like you have it with offline-cardboard-boxes too. Maybe you can integrate this feature in future builds, that would be great

Indeed, although it is subject to the iPhone's limitations, so there may be issues with less common character sets. You can try it out on iFlipr Lite, the free version, first.

Hi Dean,

I've replied to this same question on the facebook group, but just for the benefit of Youtube users:

Audio and images can already be added to both sides, but only one or the other per side at the moment. I'm not sure if that ability will make it into the next update, but if not the one after next.  So my estimate would be 2-4 weeks.

Video is something I need to explore more. Still not sure if it will be very easy or next to impossible, by I definitely want to do it.
