He tried to rape her. He stalked her. He knocked out Maddie and tied her up so he could rape Gwen but she was saved by Will and Casey.

He forced himself on Gwen earlier in the storyline but Maddie snuck up behind him and knocked him out with a tree branch. Both girls thought she had killed him and Maddie couldn't confess to Margo so they buried him in the woods (dumb, I know.) But he survived.
