HOW DID HE GET THAT HD CAPTURE WINDOW??? anybody?? I trying to capture in hd and of course it goes to the normal window and the footage is all in bad quality

@ScreamingForSunday11 ...go to EASY SET-UP which is under the top left drop down FINAL CUT PRO menu..SELECT HD AND YOUR FORMAT FROM THE DROP DOWN MENU INSIDE EASY SET UP..THEN THE CORRECT CAPTURE WINDOW WILL OPEN UP. .. ARON

I HAVE A BIG QUESTION , i have an IMAC 27 inches totally new, but It doesnt recognize my PANASONIC PV-GS85, and when i try to log and capture footage , IT SAYS there is no communication!...THE FIREWIRE CHORD IS SO NEW!! i used it on another apple computer and it worked.... ALL THE DEVICES ARE PROPERLY SET...But still says no communication!! SO , IS ANY PROBLEM WITH THE FIREWIRE CHORD? or it is just a simple thing THAT nobody sees! HELP ME PLEASE , THANKS!

@alvarochiva Hey, this video is obviously old. I have the 24" 2009 and I can capture DV from my canon Hv20 but don't know the settings for HDV. I'm as lost as you are. I've tried numerous settings with no success. If your deck is just standard DV, just setup new sequence as DV NTSC 48kHz, But HDV won't see my Hv20
