@tc1261 I had a professor in college who's wife played the camp director who got the pie thrown in her face during the food fight. He said her part was pretty much edited out of the movie except for this scene.
Wow, this takes me back to spring 1980, my junior year in high school, and that hot little brunette cheerleader who broke my heart....believe it or not, it still hurts sometimes. Especially when I hear songs like this.....lol, oh well, that's life!
Very underrated song....still have the "45" single...man, did I listen a lot to that record in '79 and thereafter...glad it is on Youtube!!...thanks for posting it...
estuve buscando este tema desde hace muchos años, desde los tiempos de stereo 100 en lima, gracias por subirla , gracias , gracias, el tema es realmente hermoso.
Classic pop, nice hooks, sexy touches with the sax, talented studio musicians and restrained backups, good use of multi-tracking and no distortion--it all adds up to that super-polished 70s sound.
A joy to the ears that we don't get enough of anymore.
I was living in Morro Bay, California in the summer of 1979 and remember this song so well. I was madly in love with Sue Bowman (we worked together for Swift Aire Lines in San Luis Obispo) ~ geez, hearing this song takes my memory, and my heart, racing back to that time in my life.
I was going through finding ideas for a 70s homemade compilation to put on CD and play in my car. I found some great tracks then I stumbled on this one. I hadn't heard this before but this song was so familiar. Full of melody and great lyrics.
This was one of those songs that just stick in your head. Even after all those years. Ever notice how the current music out there is not really sticking in your head? Beiber, Gaga, Britney and much of this other stuff sounds good, has good bass and you can dance to some of it, but I do not go about my days singing any of it.....The good music is gone now.......
this song reminds me of Dianne+Donna, the twins, shaking their cute bottoms down the hall in highschool when this song was a hit on the charts!!they were both gorgeous!!1977-78
Wow! A flood of memories are flashing back! I love that move "Little Darlings". Good for the times, but try and make a movie like that today and your going to get into trouble. Oh the innocence of youth. It sucks we can't go back our childhood again.
Oh man! I remember this song. It was used in the intro to the movie Little Darlings. I had to sneak in to see this one because it was rated R, and I was all but 11 or 12. This song takes me way back.
