Their type of comedy is "anti-comedy", people dislike it because they don't get the whole point. The point is the jokes are purposely not funny, in turn making them funny because the effort was to make them NOT be something you'd normally laugh at, so you think of how stupid it is but when you see its done on purpose suddenly its funny.

You clearly don't get it. Being an anti-comedy styled group doesn't mean they aren't funny at all, it means the comedy style they facilitate goes against the norm of what's considered funny by the majority of today's society as it stands. Their humor is styled against what's supposed to be funny, and in purposely trying to be unfunny it becomes funny. If you can't process that I feel sorry for you, their humor takes some intelligence to understand believe it or not.

You could compare it to artists who go against what most people accept as art and instead paint pictures of lines and obscure images or just throw paint at the canvas instead of painting people or places or familiar objects. Just because they chose to fling paint at the canvas instead of paint something more familiar doesn't make it art? Same principle applies to Tim and Eric, its an obscure version of comedy.
