The angled frets are because this guitar uses what are called graduated frets. Having flat frets, not every note is truly intonated. While this is not noticeable to the majority of players, it occurs on every guitar with standard frets. By using the graduated fret system, it allows the ability that every note on every string will ring at it's true tone. You really only see them used by virtuoso players like this.
@gthelegend100 It probably gives him some microtonal additions. Not sure though, but thats what it seems as the spaces between frets are bigger and shorter at different places through the guitar. Although it could be totally wrong, maybe someone else with more instrument knowledge could explain better.

@slipknotlovers89 It's called fanned fretting. It helps keep the intonation all the way up the fretboard, as opposed to a regular guitar, which gets somewhat out of tune around the 7th and 8th frets.

@PopaRocks jimi, santana, all the guys who played with allman bros band, muddy waters, ec, zepplin to name a few. those guys were great players but what i liked most about them is their creatons, not just how they played. anyone can play music, but not everyone can create it. sure this version of africa is decent but it pales in comparison to the original. some people are impressed because he's playing all the notes by himself and most likely those people never play any notes at all.

Think about the fact that a piano has different string lengths for its different notes. The guitar does not.
This allows for a different string tension setup than a standard guitar. the strings have a more even tension, and resonate more openly

@PopaRocks jimi, santana, all the guys who played with allman bros band, muddy waters, ec, zepplin to name a few. those guys were great players but what i liked most about them is their creatons, not just how they played. anyone can play music, but not everyone can create it. sure this version of africa is decent but it pales in comparison to the original. some people are impressed because he's playing all the notes by himself and most likely those people never play any notes at all.
