Based on what I have seen on the roads and the riders I have spoken with, I would ventire to make an educated guess. I guess that the greatest percentage of Harley riders don't have more tha fifty miles riding experience on ANY bike before they buy their dream Harley. Just study the classifieds. For sale, three year old Harley. Like new. has only 650 miles. Those guys are dangerous.
Japanese sportbike. The only way to take $14k and make it turn in to $7k in under 15k miles. The bike that will inevitably end up in the trash (Kia) because it will blow up in under 30k miles. The bike you never see with high mileage on cycletrader. The bike that will never be a classic like a 36 knucklehead. The bike that will never last over 150k miles. The bike you can't ride to its full potential in America legally. The bike you can't ride 400+ miles in one day.

To compare a sport bike to a auto would be like driving a Lambo. A harley in comparison would be like driving a model A Ford! Harley Davidson. The only way to take $25k and turn it in to $15k in 3 yrs. (and less than 5k miles for the average Harley rider). The bike that will inevitably need a top end rebuild in less than 40k miles. (smart Harley owners trade well before 40k 'cuz they know what's coming.) A '99 UC will NEVER be a classic like the '99 Valkyrie I/S virtually already is. The bike with a fucked up firing order so that it may make a nice sound instead of more HP.

I have met more committed 2 wheel riders on Lambrettas and Vespas than I have on Harleys. That's why they trailer their Harleys to Sturgis and Myrtle Beach etc. if they were real bikers they would ride their bikes the 2000 miles to get their.
You know, I'm 26 years old and own two Harley Davidsons, an '82 FLT Shovelhead, and an '04 FLHRI with a Twin Cam 88. I've owned an '82 Honda 650 Maxxim and a '97 Honda CBR600F3. All of them are/were good bikes, you know why? They all have 2 wheels! Any one who ripps on someone because of what they ride is a douche... Maybe its a Wisconsin pride thing, but my HDs are my babies, and they arent unreliable pieces of shit either!

It is quite common with metric cruiser riders, but you are most likely to see it with the wannabe biker doctor/lawyer/sales manager/office worker fake biker set. Harley's are unreliable compared to Japanese and European bikes. I have a 1976 Gold Wing (the original hooligan bike) with 168,000 miles on it, 1st engine.

Harley Davidson's are everything that a motorcycle shouldn't be. They should be light, fast, powerful, agile and quick to accelerate. Harley's are none of these things. They are simply couches on wheels with a gutless engine, designed in the 1930's, and bad handling and steering. Of the hundred or so bikes I've owned, only one was an HD, and I sold it within 2 months. They're basically crap.I bought it to see what the hype is all about. There is nothing to be hyped up about.

I guess that the greatest percentage of Harley riders don't have more tha fifty miles riding experience on ANY bike before they buy their dream Harley. Just study the classifieds. It is quite common with metric cruiser riders, but you are most likely to see it with the wannabe biker doctor/lawyer/sales manager/office worker fake biker set. Harley's are unreliable compared to Japanese and European bikes. I have a 1976 Gold Wing (the original hooligan bike) with 168,000 miles on it, 1st engine.

When were you ever able to tune a scooter that should only be able to manage 30ph do 100mph? I would rather ride any of the bikes I have built or tuned myself than a Harley & my GT380 would stomp everything from Harley except a V-Rod.

harleys are gay and so are most of the riders most everyone you see at sturgis or flying around town especially where i live is an insurance salesman, lawyer,dentist/docter white coller guy you get my point who throw on their leathers and angry eye sunglasses, make the wife look like a hoe and pose as real bikers and you know whats funny i was riding my buddys boss hoss which has the chevy 502 V8 most harley riders wouldnt even look at me lol

hey atleast sportbike riders have some sort of skill and when they do something dumb and go down its usually just them going out. harley riders are poser losers who were nerds in their 20's and could barely ride a fucking schwinn growing up...most of them are a liability at an intersection with a metric ton machine.

Yeah.... Victory Motorcycles are much better than Harleys. Dunno why people even still buy a Harley when Victory bikes are better made, last longer, and have more power, also look better.

Harley Davidson's are everything that a motorcycle shouldn't be. They should be light, fast, powerful, agile and quick to accelerate. Harley's are none of these things. They are simply couches on wheels with a gutless engine, designed in the 1930's, and bad handling and steering. Of the hundred or so bikes I've owned, only one was an HD, and I sold it within 2 months. They're basically crap.I bought it to see what the hype is all about. There is nothing to be hyped up about.

@sebz661 Well my original idea was to post a bunch jackasses riding Harley Davidson motorcycles, because no one else had (or has to this date) done it. There are hundreds of sportbike crash montages out there........ Throwing in the "poser" factor would fire up the Harley crowd and get a friendly "debate" going. Almost 200000 views later, the video is going strong! When you get a chance check the amount views your videos are getting........... now go smoke your pot and stay off the road......
