Gold lock is intended to stop people from intercepting calls/text, and reading them in there unencrypted form.
Of course if you install a back door that can access the data before it's encrypted, the software is useless.
However, SMS are not vulnerable to this exploit, as the sms is only sent after it's encrypted. So, unless you can break 256 bit AES you will not be able to decipher SMS.

If you install a Trojan on the phone - of course it wont work.
Don't allow access to your phone and gold lock wont be hacked....

If he really could hack Gold Lock software, then why hasn't he collected the $250,000 offered by Gold Lock to any one who cracks the code.
