when the messiah's died the followers would of left the movement and joined another movement exactly so the Christianity movement should of ended at the cross, but it didn't why not?one logical explanation for that is Jesus rose from the dead, this is hope, this is history, that Jesus was crucified He died and He rose from the dead 3 days later,(we KNOW the tomb was empty)the question is what happened to the body, the best answer is Jesus rose from the dead and is alive,if not then it is false.

@73geneva, yes he was the Lute of Lovingkindness that was revealed to King David eg Psalm 92. Jeremiah spoke of four covenants. Two of which King David spoke of. One would come at day time, one at night time. e.g. the last days of the end times. Jeremiah also said the same. However, the Jewish people broke the first covenant, will the break the second? If they do they break their divine right to be in Israel.

@DonJulioBlanco2002 Maybe the issue is you do not understand what attested 1 Provide or serve as clear evidence of:2 Declare that something exists or is the case. Now in reality the most unreliable evidence for any event, are eye witness, and with the bible you do not have that, you have eye witness claims, written down decade, maybe centuries later. So there are no attested facts in the bible what so ever, to claim so, only makes you sound ignorant. There is faith and there are facts.

@DonJulioBlanco2002 You can believe whatever you want, there is the possibility of it being true, but a documentary tend to attempt none biases. To state the crucifixion is attested, is like if I attested the story of odyssey. To the greeks 2k years ago, they believed in Gods, in those epic poems, which were claims from eye witness accounts written down centuries later. The crucifixion of Jesus is not an attested fact in any way, to claim it, makes you sound ignorant.

One verse in the old testament says of the messiah. "there is no beauty that we should desire him". So the scientific image is probably more accurate.  But as for the long hair. Wasn't Jesus called a "Nazarene". I heard that sect didn't cut their hair. It was the sect that followed Samson.

Many of the old testament figures were fore shadowing types of the coming Messiah. Of which Jesus was the ultimate fulfillment. Not totally fulfilled yet. As He will return in the clouds as He was taken up. To invade Earth and set up His promised thousand year reign. So as usual you, Jews fail!

@gkendric If you truly believe that the fate of your immortal soul depends on what you believe then it would be remiss of you not to get different perspectives and make an honest and critical appraisal of your beliefs. Anything less than that indicates that you only say that you believe it and if God is real he'll see through that in a New York minute. The Jewish Encyclopedia article on Jesus seems a reasonable place to start. It's up to you.
