  • yeah cybermatts

  • Tell me I'm not the only one who wants a spin-off based on Stormageddon.

  • this episode and all other episodes are on dailymotion....just type companion_no1

  • "i know who i want to take me home"

  • @carlexbananex

No it wouldn't be. I'm not trying to sound like a bigot or anything, but a homosexual Doctor would be weird and off-putting.

  • @Gandalf404 The Eighth Doctor might have been gay, actually. There were a few hints in the radio shows/audio dramas/whatchamacallits.

  • @t0rment2004

I'm okay with subtle gay, but if it's Torchwood's extreme gay, then that's a whole different story.

  • they still have to solve the problem of the doctor dying in 2011 by the astronaut

  • @TheReachZombie next week, bro.

  • is amy and rory gonna come back???

  • @schofs123 Yes, they are in the Final Episode. AND They ALL Return in Series 7! So they aren't gone, it just looks like they are :)

  • @schofs123 Yes, they are in the Final Episode. AND They ALL Return in Series 7! So they aren't gone, it just looks like they are :)

  • @Shadowclawz1

    no Arthur ddin't sign

so if Amy is on it and Rory isn't i wo't watch it

  • @Shadowclawz1 yaaaayy :) i dont knw what i'd do without amy and rory they're by far the bast companions ever!!

  • 0:08 David Tennant on Billboard?

  • @115MrP Oh my, I think you may be right.

  • One of my friends and I were discussing how Craig was goingto be the new companion. My friend bet five bucks that people were going to start talking about a relationship between the Doctor and Craig.

    *looks at top comment*

    *becomes five bucks poorer*

  • "Hello I'm the Doctor I work in a shop now" yay I can't wait for Saturday!!! I live for who!

  • "hello craig. IM BACK!"

    soo excited i love craig.

  • Perhapes the Doctor really just wanted to try and settle in one place and one time. Then the TARDIS Brought him "Where he needed to be" And the Cybermen showed up. It's not the Doctor's fault....IT'S THE TARDIS she said so herself. :-P

  • Cybermen = Scary

    James Corden = Not scary

James Corden + Cybermen = Scary and comedy mixed with confusion

    :(

  • CYBERMATS RETURN!!!

  • I love how the Doctor says mischievously "Hello,Craig.I'm back!"

  • @BassettReviewer It's a lot of fun for me since my name IS Craig! lol

  • @Pattonfrodo If you're a James Corden lookalike, then that'd be even more of a coincidence for you LOL

  • @BassettReviewer not sure if we look like but I'm def a "big man" like he is.. lol

  • I love how the Doctor says mischievously "Hello,Craig.I'm back!"

  • CYBERMEN <3 :D

they have to be my favorite monster :)

  • @jalyssa007 YES!!!! :D

  • @CyberGod66 I'm so beyond excited for tonight!!! :D

  • @jalyssa007 Oh my CyberGod (ha ^v^) that was an epic episode

  • @CyberGod66 lol it was :D how did you like the season finale?

  • @CyberGod66 ohh and that was clever xD

  • @jalyssa007 better be XD

  • @mowingthebacklawn and Moffat would NEVER lie right?

  • I like Amy and Rory but...I want someone new!!! Seriously give someone else a chance! Gosh Steven make a companion new...and please could they not be part of Amy's family or friends. There should be a brand new companion!!! So DO NOT bring Rory and Amy back unless its for a special other wise move on!

  • Moffatt was lying. It's the Ganger Doctor that gets shot. Isn't it obvious?

  • Moffatt was lying. It's the Ganger Doctor that gets shot. Isn't it obvious?

  • @MrJimiJam too obvious :o

  • it would be interesting to see the doctor in a homosexual relationship with one of his companions

  • @carlexbananex Jack Harkness. That is all.

  • @carlexbananex No it wouldn't.

  • @carlexbananex O that would be hard, cuz... you know he is an alien and stuff and i don't think there is more time lords around there...

  • @carlexbananex Funny you should say that.

  • @carlexbananex What about Turlough, lol? XD

  • @carlexbananex England is one of the most tolerant countries on those issues it could be possible.

  • This is quite homoerotic.

  • I think it is clear that the Dr needs to meet River the adult without Amy and Rory there and they need to build on their relationship. So Amy and Rory can not be with him :)

  • main thing I'm worried about is the fact there isn't meant to be much in the way of cybermen in this after all. They're my favourite foes and if all they get is a 'guest star' appearance, for the first time in Dr Who history, I will complain about the fact. No biggie, right? Wrong. I've never complained about anything from Dr Who ever!

  • torchwood is too homo, Dr Who is great

  • @darkfur35 Alright, we get it. You hate Torchwood. Shut the heck up. And it's spelled "Doctor Who."

    Idiot...

  • ohh the cybermen arn't in this one must be the next one then :(

    [joke]

  • CRAIG!!!!!! i love Craig! haha

  • I just watched the hitel episode so sad when he leaves amy and rory

  • CRAIG!!

  • The Doctor working in a toyshop.

The return of Craig and Sophie.

Eleven's first Cybermen episode ( I don't think The Pandorica Opens really counts).

    I think this'll be a good episode.

  • That guy really likes hugging the Doctor XD

  • My one friend has a theory that The Flesh Doctor met it's end by the Lake in Utah

  • @pattrick208 Not a bad theory, but Moffat said it was the real Doctor that was shot in Utah.

  • Craig is back I loved him last season. He and the Doctor were roommates for awhile lol XD

  • Really? A cyberman with bloody eyes?

Steven Moffat's a great director, but he needs to stop making horror films.

  • @chickwiththeuke

This episode was written by Gareth Roberts and directed by Steve Hughes - the lighting and 'effects' and feel of the episode were handled by Piers Wenger and Beth Willis

Moff had nothing to do with the bloody Cybermen ;)

  • @chickwiththeuke Moffat's not the director, he's the head writer and one of the executive producers. God, do some "bloody" research! XD

  • Is it tradition now? Every Doctor Who episode with Cyberman in the new series must have the windows smashed? XD

  • Its a Cybermat! 0:14

  • I'm so happy that Craig's back! The Lodger is one of my fav episodes!!!

  • @VyRevenge It was quite good. I thought it suffered by falling between the season's two best episodes and thus looking rather plain by comparison.

  • Why would a cybermat attack Craig? that's not cool cybermen! that's not cool.

Also, if they kill Craig, I'll kill the episodes writer! watch yourself Gareth Roberts and DON'T KILL SMITHY

  • @drwhofreak08 Cybermats LOVE to attack people ;) been doing it since the original series... give them a neck and they just can't resist

little cyber-hickes have to come from somewhere lol

  • He drops Amy and Rory off, flat-out throws them out of the TARDIS because it's too dangerous to travel with him . . . And then the first thing he does is show up again on this poor bastard's doorstep, uninvited, and with a bunch of Cybermen right behind him?

  • @aperson22222 - had no choice, paradox-thing, he can't have two versions of Amy and Rory running around when he sends the blue envelopes

  • @2Scribble Huh? That makes no sense. He already sent the blue envelopes; it was when Amy was still a Ganger and was unsure whether she was pregnant. The version he dropped off mentioned River so there's no way to say she's encountering him out of chronological order.

And even if that did have something to do with it, what's that got to do with Craig? Do the Cybermen use Craig to cause a time loop and roll back the clock to when Amy was still being unknowingky held by Madam K?

  • @aperson22222 - ah but that's from Amy and Rory's perspective - from the DOCTOR'S perspective he hasn't done that yet. If he'd already done it then his past self would know where the letter came from and he doesn't. Also, that bit he said about 'standing over their graves' he KNOWS he dies, somehow he fails and is killed. Foreknowledge is dangerous - if the Rory and Amy who know whats going to happen were there, and tried to stop it, they might be killed

  • @2Scribble The Doctor's probably not even thinking about that yet. When he does he'll send Rory and Amy an invitation in early '11. He won't need them to be elsewhere in late '11.

Otherwise, they WERE there when he was killed at the lake and nothing happened to them, that still has nothing to do with Craig, and can we please stop pretending he's REALLY going to be killed? Everyone knows he'll figure a way out of it, make a few more seasons, and regenerate into someone else.

  • @aperson22222 - he's been thinking about it at the end of every episode thus far :P

And yeah they were THERE - but that was his way of saying goodbye to them, he didn't think he was going to survive and - if you think about it - he's thought that a LOT before lol I.E the End of Time or The Caves of Andrazoni. WE know he'll survive... he doesn't, as for Craig? Well he PROBABLY wanted to say goodbye to him too... but the Cybermen

    DAMN YOU CYBERMEN!

    Got in the way ^_^

  • @2Scribble He's looked at the little screen cap twice, if that's what you mean. It didn't seem to affect his decision last night.

He knew he would regenerate in The End of Time but he was so attached to his tenth body that he figured he might as well die. (Which really rubbed me the wrong way, especially being a big Ninth Doctor fan.)

And none of that changes this question: If he's decided that being around him is so dangerous, why is he already seeking out a new companion?

  • @aperson22222 The 10th Doctor didn't know he would regenerate. In The End of Time Part One, in the cafe with wilfred, he said he was going to die, and that sometimes you can die before regeneration. He actually thought that he was going to die and not regenerate. That is why in Part Two after The Master sacrificed himself, The Doctor was surprised to be alive before hearing the Four Knocks from Wilfred

  • Doctor Who Spoiler Alert: An Unexpected Time Jump Is Approaching!

  • Hell yeah, Cybermen!

  • gahhh soo intense!!!

  • Amy and Rory have been on doctor who two series which is alot compared to donna who was there for one and martha, the doctor needs to move on he can't stay with amy and rory for the rest of there lives. We will see them again in series 7 and in two weeks time.

  • I am so excited about the lalst episode and this episode this is awesome!!!

  • amy and rory are in the christmas special, already been spotted on set, same place where the doc dropped them off aswell

  • DELETE THE HATERS! THE CYBERMEN WILL RISE AGAIN!

  • GOD DAMN, IF CRAIG DIES.

  • THE CYBERMEN...ARE BACK!!!!

  • likeit

  • YESS I GET MY 10K FOR BETTING IN A PUB THAT THIS TRAILER WOULD BE UPLOADED BY BBC AMERICA AND NOT A BRITISH SITE XD!!!!!!

  • @RegenerationStorm The British Broadcasting Corporation has seperate divisions. Like BBC, BBC America, And BBC Canada

  • @RegenerationStorm it's on the official dcotor who site as well

  • Ok, who cried at the end of the god complex?

  • erm why is everyone acting like the cybermen wern't in episode 7

  • @Sonicadvaned09 That was a cameo, not a proper appearance.

  • @Sonicadvaned09 It was only a cameo appearance plus this time we have Cybermats from the old series which is completely new.

  • it seems some americans think there's a risk of Dr Who ending. British tv isn't like US tv, where shows get cancelled at no notice. DW is nearly 50 years old. our shows run for a long time. anyway, if the BBC even considered cancelling in the 50th year, the DG would be strung up. ( he knows it too )

  • @raverdeath100

Even in America, there's no way this show would be cancelled. It has consistently shown that it has wide-ranging appeal, still raking in the viewer ratings to the point of being the most popular show in its time slot. That, and it's essentially the reason BBCA exists.

  • WHERES SOPHIE?

  • @lvjfilms Maybe she went off to live with the monkeys.

  • "I'm the Doctor, i work at a shop now. Shops are cool!"

  • Craig is BACK! Yay!

  • I know it sounds like I'm desperate for him to return - I'm not - but the shopping centre poster at 0:07or 8 looks like David Tennant.

  • im in australia and we're a week behind and i know i shouldnt but couldnt resist seeing what we were in for 2 weeks from now, looking freakin awesome!!

  • @Wintermute01001 Ganger Buzzer didn't melt when he died

  • James Corden<3

  • Im starting to think that they might be ending the show soon. I mean they HAVE to!

    Sooner or later.

  • @spartanguy63 no they don't, it makes too much money (i am NOT in denial...)

  • When I clicked this I thought it was a video with the song by Third Eye... erm I mean Semisonic! lol

  • I think by the end of this season A doctor will die. Remember, there's a "Flesh" version which IS The Doctor too. Same physiology, same memories.

  • @DarklingMagick If the Flesh Doctor died, wouldn't he melt? The Doctor killed by the astronaut didn't melt.

  • @Wintermute01001 Ah, but he's NOT flesh anymore. Remember, at the end he said they stabilized and he was now physiologically identical. He WAS The Doctor.

  • Also people the doctor won't die cuz that would be the end of the show and this show is way to big to kill off the main chacter because with out the doctor there is no show!

  • I think the astronought is the real doctor and the doctor that dies is the flesh doctor reconstructed because the doctor said I can save you or something like that before he melted himself

  • For all you guys worried you can stop worrying. Matt and Karen have both signed on for series 7 Matt will be back next year and in this christmas special the only reason amy and rory left is because the doctor has to set it up so he can send them the blue tardis envelopes like we saw at the beginning. the series is being told from back to front which is why its a little confusing the doctor will not regenerate I can imagine something cool will happen though .

  • @Darkseeker109 THANK YOU. I know it's true but hearing you say it makes me feel better :D ....reading your typing? seeing your thoughts? knowing someone else has the same idea? I CAN'T ENGLISH. The internet filtering from speech to internet disrupts my ability to grammar XD

  • @Darkseeker109 But that has major continuity issues. In The Impossible Astronaut Amy told the Doctor she was pregnant, in The God Complex she mentioned her daughter to the Doctor, how could she have known she had a daughter before she knew she was pregnant?

  • @michaelthetimelord the Impossible Astronaut was before The God Complex so she had already had her daughter (who has turned up in a couple episodes already)

  • @Lexy5428 Exactly, that's my point. How could the Impossible Astronaut have happened after the God Complex in Amy's timeline if she had her baby after the Impossible Astronaut but before The God Complex?

  • @michaelthetimelord No.. the Impossible Astronaut was BEFORE the God Complex. Not after.. BEFORE.

  • @SuitmanProductions Exactly, you're not listening to what I'm saying. The comment I originally replied to implied that Amy and Rory will receive the blue envelopes from the Doctor sometime in the future of their timeline, but I was saying that that couldn't happen because the Impossible Astronaut had to come before The God Complex, so you're just agreeing with me.

  • @michaelthetimelord Amy and Rory recieved the envelopes after the Doctor dropped them off after their honeymoon before the Impossible Astronaut and after A Christmas Carol. They then met the future Doctor and witnessed his death, before meeting a younger version of the Doctor in the dinner. Them being dropped off after the God Complex does not lead on to them getting the envelopes.

  • @SuitmanProductions He's going back in time to give the blue envelopes to a younger version of Amy and Rory..

  • @SuitmanProductions I KNOW, you're STILL AGREEING WITH ME. Two different people have "corrected" me by just backing up the exact points I made, that The Impossible Astronaut DOES NOT happen after The God Complex from Amy and Rory's timeline, the original post I replied to said that it did, and I told them that was impossible.

  • @SuitmanProductions Timey Wimey... Ball. As Michael said, Time is nowhere near linear in Doctor who.

  • @Darkseeker109 They better be back I care more for Amy them I do for the doctor... Amy did make me watch doctor Who again after what they did with Rose.

  • @Darkseeker109 i thought that too, but amy and rory's house in impossible astronaut is different that the one in the god complex. and it's the kind of detail the crew cares about...

idk what to think about it...

    MOFFAT!!!

  • @Darkseeker109 what about arthur?

  • @VPureBloodPrincessK No one knows. /:

  • @Darkseeker109 Are you sure about that because i looked it up and apparently in series 7 amy and rory will be in it but not as full time companions, they'll be reappearing as guests.

    (sorry for my spelling errors)

  • @Darkseeker109 maybe the doctors daughter will make a come back i dunno though.

  • @Darkseeker109 Yeah I know just thinking are their going to be on for full time or just guest appearances like their did with Martha?

  • @Darkseeker109 I have a friend who says the Doctor didn't die at the start of this current series/season.

  • @Darkseeker109 WARN PEOPLE WITH YOUR SPOLIERS!!!!!!!

  • @Darkseeker109 I'm more worried about Rory not being in it!

  • @Darkseeker109 Oh your clever person. I like you. But--the Amy he picks up is pregnant-- and she hadn't had River yet. This Amy and Rory have had Melanie. They know exactly who River is, and in Astronaunt episode they have no idea. NOW, it could be that he sends for them timey whimey to intercept theirselves and stop Amy from shooting little Melody.

  • @Darkseeker109 im willing to bet the flesh doctor will be the one who gets killed. seeing as they have said he may survive

  • @Darkseeker109 it's not. It's being told in the right order from the companions' point of view, he's just left them at home from time to time. It's the doctor that does the time travelling, not them.

  • @Darkseeker109 Except that Amy and Rory have already received their envelopes in there time line. In the Impossible Astronaut, Amy didn't even know if she was pregnant, but at the end of The God Complex, she knew she had a daughter.

  • Cyber Men Vs. Craig *DUN DUN DUNNNNN*

  • This maybe the second last episode like if your gunna have nothing to watch on saturdays in 2 maybe 3 weeks

  • I hate the cybermen. The concept of them are stupid

  • FINALLY THE CYBER MEN ARE BACK!!!!!!!!!! WOOTTT lol even tho they scare the poop outta me haha!!!

  • HOLY SHIT!!! ITS THE CYBERMEN!!!!

  • The Doctor will save us!

  • I love Craig!!!

  • OMG 0:13 CYBERMATS!

  • im sure he wont die in 2 weeks hopefully he or should i say a new doctor will be here for us

  • @drsjohnny no, Matt Smith is confirmed for next series

  • Ok moffat how exactly is he going to get at the silence without the only people that know he dies 200 years from now?

Seriously you almost made me cry tonight!

  • @36inc He also knows about his death, he saw the date on a previous episode

  • @36inc He's already seen his deathdate as 2011 in the end of Lets KIll Hitler. He quickly turned the monitor off before Amy and Rory could see what he was looking at. The Doctor knows, so he can cheat pre-destiny like Amy did in The Girl Who Waited...

  • This show needs to stop BREAKING MY HEART. This whole half has been nothing but TEARS so far! It's a fine, fine line between epic and tragedy. Please don't ruin this for us by going darker and edgier than you can come back from.

  • If he dies as Matt Smith, so will every writer for season 6!

  • something has to happen before he dies ! He can't die he is the doctor ;(
