Genesis's Japanese voice actor, Gackt Cumai, made Genesis a much more charasmatic character. But the Englidh dubof Genesis was just a dud!

Genesis was originally long spikey silver-haired... his suit was alot different and so was his attitude.

but then they changed it during early production to suit Gackt, they wanted to exclusively model Genesis's features after Gackt. In the Dirge of Cerberus game, Gackt himself stared as Genesis in the live-film-clip at the secret end.

Genesis, Angeal...they say they've lost their dreams and their pride, but they haven't. "Everyone is always using me as they please"...I think Zack means that both Genesis and Angeal tried to use Zack as a means to die a prideful death. Angeal succeeded, but Zack wasn't having it this time and chose to spare Genesis. Zack has had to fight each of his mentors/friends. I bet he's like "is there a SOLDIER 1st Class left (other than me) who hasn't gone mad?"

well as zack helped angeal with his pride, he helped genisis with his dream. It wa always his dream to share his Banora Whites with Sephiroth and at the end zack was the subsitute being he has the S cells. Thats y Genisis tells Angeal (aka Lazard) that the dream has been fuffiled. Despite being monsters they had there pride and dreams

It's believed the Lifestream healed him after he took in all it's power. And what Zack means by "from the very beginning..." is, I'm just theorizing here but, Genesis was never after revenge of any sort, all he wanted were his dreams.

I just wanted to say what I have been thinking on the 'Loveless' book-thing. As probably been seen is the fact that Loveless seems to have a large deal of parell to what is occuring. When he say's 'peaceful slumber' couldn't it mean death. From C10S03, he talks about 'Your story shall be told- Your sacrifice and the worlds end.' The story told could be referrance to Crisis core being told.

Sacrifice, Zack sacrifices himself to save Cloud. Worlds end could be referrance to the deterrating state of the world do to Shinra's draining of the Lifestream....Then again, that is my theory.
