Okay, first things first, I love the title of this series! Very clever!

The vid was nice and to the point, but why the hate for fighting games? Fighting games are great!

Also, Bushido Blade had an excellent concept and actually introduced the concept of lethality into a sword-based game, something that hasn't been done since.

I would love to see a modern sword-based fighter that would actually allow limb removal and fatal cuts, etc.

This game was awesome for its time. There were a lot of little secrets and confusing things that made exploring it interesting. Like running from stage to stage, and the fact that as a kid I didn't understand how to kill the dude with the gun properly. The first time you get past that Bushido test and fight on the beach you are like WHOA! I hope in the future they can make another game using the limb damage and instant kill concept.
