  • 1:46 Cue solo "Woo~~"

  • I miss those good ol' days! Dot com bubble, great anticipation of Y2K, and people were much more cheerful!

  • I think they knew that there was no time for another question so all the clips and commercials were really just a time filler because chuck said we''l find out what happened twice before going to commercial. Or it was to extend that team to thre episodes.

  • This was on tv!

  • the first show to give out a million dollars....a damn shame it did not last much longer than this....

  • @joshdasmiter Incidentally it was actually the second. $1,000,000 Challenge of a Lifetime offered $1,000,000 in cash in the late 80's (Assuming it was won in that season). If so, then Greed was the second. And John Carpenter won $1,000,000 on Millionaire the next night to complete the hat-trick.

  • Wheres Part 7?

  • I remember when this episode first aired, it seriously made me PO'd (and you can tell Curis was) at the BS stall tactics Chuck Woolery (didn't realize before the original airing of this episode just how slow he can talk. He makes Ben Stein sound like the old Micro Machines guy sometimes until right before the commercial break) and the production team pulled and constant commercial breaks, even in the 2nd episode. Anyway, thanks for the upload.

  • @Thelazertagkid You're right, in a way. But bear in mind that it wasn't Chuck's decision. "Greed" was trying to make a name for itself, as was Fox network. Dragging it out was the producers' decision to grab as much ratings as they could. That's why the recaps. That's why the slow talk. Was it cheap theatrics? Absolutely. But that's television. It was certainly a better concept for a game show than rehashing "21," which NBC tried. "Greed" had a loyal following. It was killed off way too soon.

  • @wkyken You make a good point and I would agree on it not being his decision... if it had only been on Greed. Lingo on GSN also had him doing everything as slowly as possible and that had average ratings at best as far as I know and I'm pretty sure even that much was mostly due a lot to Shandi. However, I do admit that they could have been killing time because it was the first time a team had gotten that far and they were probably scrambling to figure out just how the last round would go.

  • when i saw this episode i knew nobody would ever get this far again

  • Can you please show a part 7 where we see them picking to go for it or not and Dan Avila's $2.2 million dollar question.

  • @coldassassin99 i agree with coldassassin

  • @coltino99 Thank you. I want to be able to relive the moment when Daniel Avila picked the green (Go) button to go for the $2.2 million and the crowd cheering while Curtis and Melissa picked the red (Stop) button.

  • @coltino99 I do too

  • @coldassassin99 watch?v=GOnclrSNhOY&feature=related

  • @taylorover9000 Thanks bro. This helps a lot.

  • Comment removed

  • @coldassassin99 In fact, its in the Releated Videos/Suggestions. And its NOT my vid.

  • @taylorover9000 I know, but you told me about it before I knew.

  • Speaking of which, can you please upload the entire episode of "Greed", where Melissa and Curtis are going to be playing for $1 Million in the "Million Dollar Moment"??

  • I hate the credit crunch as much as you do.

  • @agentcak Curtis' appearance of Win Ben Stein's Money was already uploaded on thewhammy83.

  • If you ever get it, can you upload Curtis Warren's appearance on "Win Ben Stein's Money"?

  • @David9788 Why did you direct that comment to me?

  • @ChinookUT i saw an episode of greed once where dan went for 2 million dollars and lost it

  • @David9788 That was what happened on the next episode, yes. Like I said, Dan's attempt at the 2.2 million is in the video "Dan Avila Shoots The Works"

  • @ChinookUT true

  • Curtis Warren was amazing on that show winning $410,000 and $1,000,000 on February sweeps on Greed.

  • @w1234ait And that additional $1 million made him the all-time money winner in TV game show history...for at least a few days.

  • i hope to god that chuck misspoke when he said all that, (i have to assume (for obvious reasons.) that if ONLY melissa and curtis had decided to go for it, they would've split the money right down the middle.)

  • The credit crunch is neccesary for cable network to raise more ad revenue since they work on tight budgets.

  • God I wish this show was NEVER cancelled. I remember watching reruns of it on GSN in 2005, but I was pissed that the pulled it from their scheduele.

Also, I never knew Star Wars never won best picture. :U

  • "TheMiimaster": Millionaire sucks. It should have been cancelled, with Greed continuing its run.

  • @ngarcia103 I thought of that too, man. Wow! I believe that Greed should've continued it's run.

  • I remember watching this show on saturday nights before i went to bed all those years ago... I hope you post all the episodes of this. I loved GREED, widht they would bring it back with Chuck hosting..

  • Please Mike Put up the rest of it the suspense is killing me!!!!

  • @cooksta4prez08 The rest of that team's run, minus their individual decisions at the start of the next show, is in the YouTube video "Dan Avila Shoots The Works"

  • @ChinookUT thank you for the suggestion

  • omg i remember this!!! michael have you seen dan avila's millionaire run posted mrrgeller?
