I think he controlling his voice,i want see him to hit and sustain those notes loudly (belting)...but i think his voice had a limit and if he over pass his comfort zone in singing its out of tune,however love his smooth and calm voice ;)

Fantastic voice... a very difficult song to sing. His falsetto is well controlled and he builds the song masterfully... Listen to the crowds applause as his voice begins to soar.. Actually I think American singers have taken more after British bands. Before the 60's American bands sounded more "American" (Folk, Country Western, Bluegrass). Then the Beatles and the Stones came along and American Rock music became British sounding.
