I think the problem is that people aren't smart enough to realize they shouldn't take advise from a stand-up comedian. He's making jokes but they think it's serious and a good idea. I don't think the comedian needs to stop telling his jokes, I think people need to educate themselves.

It's all part of the "sweat like a slave" attitude, meaning exert maximum effort to do as little work as possible (at least in my mind). And about the "talented colored people thing" I think talent comes in many forms, cultural and ethnic background being irrelevant to me (But I'm just an average man...so what do I know).

Thank you for clarifying. One question though...Isn't EVERYONE a person of color? When I think about it, no matter who you are ancestrally speaking (If that sounds accurate) everyone has an ethnicity (I.E. Asian, Hispanic, Anglo-Saxon, African-English). I'm thinking perhaps people should define themselves by their own preferences and choices.
