My only Gripe? I miss the more "Traditional" Jolly Rodgers from the Anime. Not so much on the costumes, more on the Arcadia itself. Queen Esmereldas especially looks nice. Hopefully They dont jack up Tochiro, kinda hard to translate his look to CG. Other than that, I already got wood for this flick.

Finally a new project that looks to be worthy of the name Harlock. Appleseed Ex Machina was awesome. The last few projects have been sorely lacking. If Harlock is to endure it need to be updated a little, just as Yamato was in the live action film.

Im not sold yet, one they have Shinji Aramaki directing. Who did suck classics as "Megazone 23 part 3 (The one no one liked) and Appleseed, which is stupid. and never realy made anything worth while, but they do have the writer from Gundam UC so maybe it will even out. I also hate Harlock's english voice, it makes him sound like a Final Fantasy character...no offence but boo.

@sonickid101 I also dont like How they play Kei Yuki as a fanservice love interest, when she was never any of those things in the original shows. and what about the great cast from Space Pirate? Yattaran, Daiba, Mimay, Dr. Zero, Maji, Masu , and some colorfull backround characters that slack off in the ship untill a battle starts? Id rather have Rin Taro directing, I think he did a fine job on Endless Oddisy so I think he can still do a great Harlock movie, anyone by f***ing shinji Aramaki..
