But if you feel pain that great, it means the happiness that came befre it was just as itense. And Amy is strong enough to relive all of it in this song, and do it with a smile in her eyes. Everyone feels pain at some point in their lives, but the happiness that came before it is what saves us in the end

There's so many god-damn different versions of not only this song, but almost every song she has produced. I love it. I knew there was a single, an EP, and an acoustic version, but this is my first time listening to the live version. I'm discovering new things all the time about her. That's the problem though, all the different versions are SO GREAT and yet, they are surprisingly difficult to obtain.

I was lucky enough to hear this live when I saw them in 2007. It was beautiful and I couldn't believe she was playing it. I saw it had been on the setlist for that tour, but that doesn't mean anything until it was played. That was the best setlist EVER. They played all the hits, added My Immortal back into the setlist (I'd heard she stopped playing that for a bit) and played Missing. I can't wait for them to tour again :)

i dont like this song live,it sounds like she wasnt taking it seriously.now evanescence is my biggest inspiration of all time, but for this preformance, amy just dosent spill her soul out like she did in the original recording for the EP back in 1997.back then,when her life was in more of a sorrowful state,she could relate to the lyrics that she cowrote with ben,which made her pour her soul. but now, you can tell that she isnt very into it. i understand why she dosent often sing old songs live
