This guy is boring. Batman is an iconic character. He's has some of the best writer's and best artists around. He calls Ed Benes a Jim Lee wanna be? Please. Jim Lee's penciling style is unique, he's been drawing comics for 25 years! I like Jim Lee's style, and I like Ed Benes's style. I don't know much about Ed Benes, but he is not trying to copy Jim Lee's style. Thats just the way he draws.
hey...ur dumb. If u read BFTC at the end Dick & Damion become Batman & robin. Plus, Grant Morrison's storytelling isn't as confusing as people make it. Except final chrisis which is inspired by videogame storytelling techniques.

The Gotham City Sirens is actually one of the better series. The Detective Comics story is actually pretty interesting and the artwork is amazing. Not sure why they dont just give her her own comic.
I'm sorry, but this guy is just bad at doing reviews. I don't know if it is because of his voice and how monotone it sounds. Maybe it is because I don't agree with his opinion on comics. For any reason I just don't like this guy's reviews.

Well there's no hierarchy of art, only a hierarchy of opinion/interpretation/criticism of art since art is completely subjective - there's nothing substantial or about it (i.e. scientific).
I think Jim Lee just uses WAY too many lines. All his characters' faces look exactly the same - and they're always cringing! His characters look like they're made of stone. Except for the women who look like they're made from balloons.
I prefer cleaner, but realistic artists like Tim Sale, Scott McCloud etc

are you serious how could Dick surprise you as Batman it was so obvious. Damien is obviously going to stay his chemistry with Dick is great.
Red Robin is weak, the motivation for the character seems weak after battle for the cowl. Not liking Red Robin.

Red Robin and Detective Comics suck. Batwoman cannot carry a comic.

I can name plenty of artists I consider superior. But art is very subjective so everyone has their tastes.
Maybe if Jim Lee would put out more than 1 comic a year I'd like him a little better.
