  • its a STORAGE JAR!

  • Q: What's red and fuzzy and five feet long?

A: The mitten for Gonzo the Great!

  • Wow he has a long arm.

  • That himalayas thing was a reference to another Monty Python sketch about exploring the Hilmalayas. Look it up!

  • @nellie2581 I think the "Mexican Maraca" thing is also a reference to the "Llama" sketch.

  • The part where John and Gonzo are together, John is talking about Gonzo's nose and how he should get it fixed. This is also featured in Monty Python's "Cosmetic Surgery" sketch where Graham wants his nose to be fixed. =)

  • 6:06. I love it!

  • 1 person doesn't do old show tunes

  • RIGHT WHERE'S THE FROG!!!!!

  • Man, that bit with Gonzo? There aren't many people who work that well with Muppets. Very impressive Mr. Cleese *slow clap* Very. Very. Impressive.

  • Oh picky picky picky!

LOL, that was one of my favorite Muppet segments as a kid....still is!

  • "You'd have loved my Codenza."

  • @NaiTaiDai I'd've hated your lousy Codenza.

  • sweetums dosen't seem mean , he seems nice.

  • LOL John Cleese strangled Kermit

  • Don't forget... John Cleese was also in the Great Muppet Caper movie. ;) for those finding Muppets+Cleese=AMAZING.

  • where's the frog! lol

  • @NanashiYami It's pronounced as Throatwobbler Mangrove, but I believe the correct spelling is Raymond Luxury Yacht.

  • "Mr. Cleese, what am I going to do?"

    "Eh, which one are you..?"

"I am he ugly, disgusting one who catches canon balls."

    "Ah, yes."

This is indeed a very close bordering on bad taste, but luckily the Muppets have their very own way of compensating even the truely darkest aspects of humour. This show is priceless. Thanks again for uploading!

  • John Cleese: "Kermit, you can't be serious..."

    Kermit: "abmnbgie..."

    what was that =D

  • "RIGHT! WHERE'S THE FROG?!"

  • 1 person was laughing so hard he hit the "dislike" button...

  • I wish John said "I know a great plastic surgeon. You should have seen what he did for Throat-Warbler Mangrove" when he was commenting on Gonzo's nose.

  • Great, Niva2gr destroyed the magic...

  • ROFLMAO!!!

  • I saw Sweetums live in Disneyland! :D

  • 0:39 omg its throatwobbler mangrove!!!!!!

  • This is the best! :D

  • This episode is REALLY cool!

  • Wow The Planet's Named After CoosBay Oregon! (Dallas,OR here)

  • Wow ! thanks for making the whole show available - it doesn't really flow right in bits & pieces !!! :]

  • Kermit the frog, Miss Piggy, Gonzo, The two old men and Animal is and always will be my favorite muppets

  • double Yay; One of John Cleese's famous

    mad Tantrums

  • No doubt there's a simple explanation - but I CANNOT figure out how Sweetums works! Probably just as well, I love the character and knowing would probably destroy the magic of him...

  • @DrDespicable Sweetum's mouth works with a hand inside. Observe the scene. Every time he sings the director does close ups so that we do not see his right arm. And when he dances he never sings at the same time. At the rare timew that we see his body while he talks, his right arm is pinned either to the side, or at the back.

  • @niva2gr Come on Richard Hunt needed 2 of his arms to do Sweetums's arm.

  • God I miss this show. What has American television gone to? Fucking Spongebob and the weird as hell new versions of the Power Rangers. They really need to bring this series back, even if they are all reruns.

  • I just love the look of resignation and disgust Cleese gives at the end of the last song. XD

  • cool

  • LMAO, i love when Cleese chokes Kermit

  • This has to be my personal favorite episode. John Cleese is awesome.

  • damn when cleese was pulling gonzos limbs it scared the shit out of me when i younger

  • @Dawkness23 Don't worry Gonzo Loved every second

  • The Part with Gonzo and Cleese is the best part!

  • You got to love these guys for getting away with two drunk jokes.

  • I loved the Monty Python references in this episode.. like

    'Want to be an ex-parrot??"

    or

"This is NOT funny!!!" from the deadly joke.. made me laugh so hard lol

  • Say, haven't I seen a similar gag on "Muppet Treasure Island"?

  • "There we go, Gonzo. Both your arms are the same length."

    "Oh....I wanted them both short."

    "What?"

    "SHORT!"

    "...Oh, picky, picky, picky!"

  • 9:04 LOL

  • I'd be scared of John Cleese, too, if I were Kermit. Or if I were anyone else, for that matter.

  • Oh, picky, picky, picky!

John Cleese and Gonzo work well together!

  • lol, look at his face at the cover of the album!

this is priceless, cleese, henson and oz working together..

  • What's realy funny about it is that John Cleese realy doesn't sing.

  • One of the all time best episodes for sure... fabulous!! John worked very well with the Muppets. They're all classics, but this is in my top 5 without any doubts.

    Rhys Llewellyn

  • Poor Gonzo, all strecthed out. At least me doesn't have to worry about being short anymore though. :)

  • And That Is Why Gonzo Took Up Basketball.

  • this is TV Gold.

  • John Cleese AND the Muppets? I believe it is impossible to get better than that.

  • I thoroughly agree. I love them both! And, call me ignorant, I never knew it was pronounced "cleez". Duh, it came from "Cheese" - I knew that.

  • I must agree, this is pure genius

  • Well, as you already said it... ;-)

  • @LesPaulLady There's a star wars one...

I'm not a fan of Star Wars personally, but that one was Gold..
