  • No one I Know Hit The Lotto

But We Made . Let's Do It Again.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! PEACE AND LOVE!

  • I just recently heard this version, Why the hell dont the black radiostation's play this, i guess they really lost their soul.

  • @jurnagin

its almost criminal that they still refer to themselves as urban contemporary/r&b and heaven...they play about the same 89 songs everyday....

  • @slimbrotherluv I agree

I think Its harder for radiostations to play older songs because of licenseing isuses I heard that somewhere.

  • Gladys Bravo x x

  • Love this version - brings out every inch of soul in the original and lots more.

  • let it be i love the adlibs in this version let it let it be near the. Gladys does justice

  • yea think this is better than the original to be honest...especially in the lead vocal part...not mad about the cheesy Hammond organ part in the accompaniment but still luv it...

  • The original is one of my favorite Beatles songs, but.....I honestly think this version is better. First time I heard it, I got chills. For other Motown Beatles covers, I kinda like Stevie Wonder's take on "Yesterday"

  • everyone from motown covered this song along with yesterday and hey jude i think all covers where good

  • This is a great version. Too bad I cannot find it in itunes.

  • they play this song all the time at my job

  • Yes...

    They really did this justice...

    and then some.

  • i'm a Beatles fan love their music, and I think Gladys Knight and The Pips sung this song beautiful love this version very much.

  • This whole is excellent, has many rare gems. I believe "The Singer" is on this album.

  • I checked, "The Singer" is not on this album, but "I Don't Want To Do Wrong" is, an interpretation of the classic "One Less Bell To Answer", a beautiful less known song called "One Step Away" and other lesser known gems.

  • "THE SINGER" is one of my favorite songs, it's on the 1973 "ALL I NEED IS TIME" LP. Soul/Motown. Could someone post that song, I only have it on lp. I miss hearing it, it is a beautiful song.

  • i LOVE Gladys & the Pips! classic :)

  • Thank you. This is a rare gem.

  • What a great rendition! Thanks so much for sharing!
