It's no wonder Rick Perry's approval rating is lower than California Governor Schwarzenegger, lower even than President Obama (38% vs 45%). Of course, if you really HATE driving on highways without paying tolls, by all means, re-elect Perry. He'll work hard to get rid of the last of the free roads, and send the tolls collected to his cronies in Spain.
@EpicGifted I'm curious where and when that poll is from. I see a poll like that from a site called Right Wing Watch. You don't really expect me to take that seriously, do you? I can cite Talking Points Memo which has a poll from June of this year showing Perry's approval at a dismal 36%.
@EpicGifted That 60% is only among likely GOP voters. It doesn't even include registered GOP voters who don't plan to vote. That means that over 1/3 of active GOP voters don't like him. Taking the state as a whole (yes, believe it or not, there are people in Texas who are not Republican), his approval rating is lower than Obama's.
LOL, SERIOUSLY? 1 million texans unemployed... does bill white even realize that the population of texas is 24 million? 1/24, that means that the employment rate in texas is 4.1%, less than half the national average of 10%...
meanwhile, bill white made houston a sanctuary city and left it with double the debt of CALIFORNIA.
@EpicGifted The workforce is not comprised of 5-year-olds and elderly (well, maybe in a GOP Utopia), so the workforce is not the total population. Basic math. The TX unemployment rate is higher than LA, OK, KS, CO and AR.
Can you cite the law that makes Houston a sanctuary city? No? The wording of Perry's state law regarding application of federal immigration law is almost identical to the Houston statutes. Please research the lies you're being told before spreading them.
NO YOU ARE COMPLETELY WRONG ASSWIPE! A VOTE FOR YOU ARE SLICK RICK PERRY IS A VOTE FOR MEXICO'S FUTURE NOT TEXAS! GET IT RIGHT!
