also wanna add that with my specs i get to anywhere between 30-60 fps, usually drops when in battle but the more enemies i kill the higher the frames get so guess i got extra motivation to kill them.

i dont mind playing at those frames cuz been wanting to play this game for a long time.

that isn't true anymore, i got win7 64bit.

what i did is download version 0.6 2324 32bit, download sonicstage and install normally without the need for copy pasting and it worked, however when the actual game started the screen was green, so i checked all boxes in video tab apart from the first two, and got to a save point and now i will play around with the video options til everything looks good.

my specs are i7 2600k 4.3ghz, gtx 570 oc. so might not be the same for u, good luck.

Good tutorial but DO NOT download SonicStage like this dude says, this way is so much fuckin around and doesnt work. Just download sonicstage 4.3 yourself from a torrent site and install. The rest of this tutorial is ok. I personaly had issues with the JPCSP launcher so fucked it off. It works perfectly using the win bat file that comes with the emu. Thumbs up peeps so others can read this and save themselves a lot of dicking around.

epsilon can u help?when i turn on the game,cutscenes dont exist instead its white screen,i see the menu which says new game n load game and normal or hard difficulty,and i select normal,but then the next cutscene is also white screen,i can pause it but its still like that...

@Epsil0n btw, i tried your tutorial but i keep getting the fake mpeg video and after it reaches 100% it restarts and starts from 0% in a continuous loop. i figure you need a real psp to edit some stuff, and i'm too cheap to buy myself one just to play a single game.

@ponkadolz 1st, did you ticked the "Use Media Engine" in Option>Configuration>Media. 2nd, If you haven't installed the JPCSP Launcher, you have to extract the FFmpeg native by yourself, go there: \jpcsp-windows-x86\lib\windows­-x86 and extract that ffmpeg-natives.7z.

This should defenitly works. You don't need to have a real psp (it was the case for the first emulator until rev1K somewhere). The sound was missing until 1.6/1.7K, now, no more problems.
