His father comes back to life and he has the powers to take other peoples powers and so he does on Peter and then Peter is without powers. But suresh is working with some formula that will give ordinary people powers and Peter takes the last one of that antidote before all gets destroyd and now he has this new power instead :p it's quite complicated and i miss Peters real power :'( but this works too I guess. But he is not imba any longer :(
