to be fair these kind of 'you can see the heads of the audience' videos taken at comedy clubs usually don't work - they don't capture the atmosphere well at all -
I was at the club that night, (full disclosure - a company i consult for was one of the judges at this final) the crowd was wild for tom and though you can't necessarily see it on this vid he has great presence on the stage
i reckon the skipping is caused by skipping! I also think you should see tom live! he is good, annnnnnnnnnnnnnnd he doesn't skip much
